phil01, you’re quite right. Nothing CB or anyone else says, has or will affect my decision making. Bought more yesterday and again today, so for transparency, that’s just over 4m shares and with an average of 1.2p which I take complete responsibility for. If I think the company could do better than I shall say so, as with AFC, but generally my feeling is that we’re going in the right direction and I’ll hold for five years; possibly less if we get our act together and the price is right. I may complain, it’s my right, but ultimately i won’t whine if I lose the lot. GLA.

Segedunum, I’m not unhappy with leading units either, but my point to Kev was that we don’t have ‘many orders’. Also, it’s known that AB has been dismissive of supplying single units, but in the RNS states that over half of the fifty plus qualified enquiries could have multiple order potential. So he’s happy enough to include single unit enquiries in the announcement because it sounds great, but in reality he probably has no intention of selling to them. Therefore what we’re looking at in reality is 25 ish enquiries which AFC are considering, if they make an order. I think AB has had enough time to announce something.
Yes, the ABB thing is great but that doesn’t excuse the radio silence regarding everything else.

Kev, I typed a better message than this, but it hasn’t appeared. The gist was; look again at the RNS and you’ll see try aren’t orders. The ABB system is for integration, and Mace are hiring an as yet unknown number of units. AFC also have more than £30m. Final point was that the RNS states they’re deciding how best to inform the market about orders, as they didn’t want to overestimate or underestimate. I think 2.5 months is enough time to have reached a decision to say something, even if it’s just a couple of units. Like it or not, it’s a bit shoddy.

Could drop further but at this price it’s an opportunity and not to be missed, so I’ve added. Still want to see some news flow Mr B.

Daz, they didn’t have a working commercial product back then, but whichever way you look at it, fifty possibles a couple of months back could now be double that; yet still we can’t give any info regarding a single one. Seems odd to me as surely a company such as AFC would be pretty keen to announce something at this stage. If they’re not, then something else is at play. The more I think about it the more I think it’s outside involvement.

It did cross my mind that ABB may be calling the shots here. Partnership and investing in AFC; possibly asking them to not be too quick in announcing deals or taking on additional work. ABB must have some idea of the potential orders they could throw our way, none of which would be progressed if AFC already had multiple units to build for existing customers. Probably a dumb thought but they do seem to be courting us at the moment.

the solar array was used at the previous race too. I’m no expert but I’d be grateful if you could explain why the panels would be insufficient and purely there to make the brews? No issue with different views but I definitely dislike potentially inaccurate statements.

Daz, most of the posts have disappeared, so it’s possible it was someone else’s initial comment about a fuel cell generator; however, my points still stand.

Daz, I have no issue with trading but I don’t like the cynical self-centred approach you take, which looks like a misguided attempt to drive the SP down. You said Caterpillar are now offering ‘hydrogen fuel cell generators’ but there is no mention of fuel cells that I can find. The caterpillar offering looks to be an engine derived hydrogen generator of considerable size and weight; although I accept they’ll tailor each one according to customer requirements. It does not appear to be containerised (at this stage) and certainly, as I’ve mentioned, doesn’t use fuel cells. If I’m wrong, feel free to show me.
