No one is questioning the fact that VRS makes Graphene, where as AGM and Haydale don't...but who says that VRS make "high quality" Graphene? VRS, perhaps? Just because they claim it has been collaborated on and verified by the new Manchester Graphene Centre does not necessarily mean it is the worlds only "true"(?) Graphene...or is that what you believe? Let us not forget, both Haydale and AGM ( AGM to a lesser degree) have access to the Graphene Centre too.
And as for all that "high quality" Graphene, where are all the huge orders? Name me one substantial, finished product containing this "high quality" Nanene that is now an established item bringing in much needed year upon year revenue for VRS?
And returning to Haydale and AGM. Yes, you are quite correct, in some respects, to say that they tried and failed (we won't mention anything more about Mr Gibbs...it is, after all, an open forum) but you are still failing to recognize that, even if they do eventually fail, they still reached the point where they did indeed have a finished commercial product (something larger and more substantive than just "push-in ear-plug microphones") that has found a market somewhere...however small.
VRS might well turn out to be "the best thing since sliced bread"...but it needs to start walking the walk, luckyorange. Because if it does not...you are going to see a plunge in the s.p just as dramatic as the ones concerning both AGM and Haydale. And it cannot be far off either.
P.s As for Graphene itself someone on LSE once said: "this thing still belongs in a test tube in some laboratory somewhere...not as a viable business". This comment has some validity when you consider it has not been that long since the government funded Graphene Centre only just opened a couple of years ago; lets us also bear in mind that some of the brightest young minds from around the world gather here with regular frequency...and they have access there to all the cutting-edge technologies and sciences that anyone could wish to offer. Graphene? A wonder product? In my opinion - yes! Graphene companies ahead of their time? In my opinion - yes! Can these Graphene companies survive? I cannot answer that. I guess it will come down to luck and endeavour. But just as the great Jack Nicklaus once said: "lucky? yes I was lucky -- but its a funny thing about luck -- the more I practice...the luckier I get". Wise words, Jack...wise, wise words indeed. Fortune does indeed favour the lucky.
Good luck to you, luckyorange, with VRS, I hope it all comes good for you also. And, of course, for everyone else concerned. Cheers!
