Not sure when this was updated , a few days ago I think , but there are now 5 indications for Traumakine , including

Ards & Covid
Major Cardiovascular Surgery
CAR therapy induced CRS
Acute Kidney injury
IRI in solid organ transplantation

The last 3 are just preclinical - but recent expansion into uses .

Did some digging on who Kaiku Health are , based in Helsinki , they seem to work alongside companies like Faron to help collect and collate patient data whilst the patient is both in and out of hospital , so that symtoms etc can be recorded and logged , in a real time app , so that the doctors can see what is going on , and if things start getting abnormal , interventions can be done .
So monitoring the patients when they are out of hospital firstly frees patient up to be allowed more out whilst still being monitored , and saves hospital time & costs . It also gives the doctors plenty of data back on patients regarding their condition and side effects for example .
Patients can also contact doctors via the app to report and changes and allows them to adjust medication/treatment to make patients more comfy and also overall seems to reduce mortality as the patient is being monitored in far much more detail .
I'm not exactly sure how that tied in with them discovering this Clever1 breakthrough , but perhaps it was whilst monitoring this group of patients . They seem to share alot of the same cancer studies that Faron are involved in , so perhaps they are all connected with these phase 2 trials ?

Well it was rising - somebody must have cashed in - cant blame them - at £4.38 thats double you dough in about a week .
Shame GGP took a nose dive today , sort of urinated on my parade a bit . Still got the same amount of shares which is the main thing though :-)

And the bid is rising into the close . A good sign

I'm holding onto my day trade . Its just the huge volume on the Nas and its staying steady at 31% all afternoon .
Its not as if we've had a big partner/phase2 announcement yet , just some more encouraging news on the potential of this drug . Plus a nice interview tomorrow .

and it reminded me of the discovery made last year regarding a single nucleotide polymorphism that was identified that suggested a subgroup of the population more receptive to Interferon beta 1a treatment ( albeit I/V but i don't see why that wouldn't translate to Inhaled)
The prevalence of this unique polymorphism* is around 30-35% among Caucasians, 40-45% among African origin and 10% in Asian populations, indicating a target population of around one third of ARDS patients in Europe and North America

The guy presenting this video highlights how minority communities are more vulnerable to Covid , so the fact that 40-45% of African origin people may be more highly receptive to Interferon can only be a good thing .

And also how important genetic testing may be in the future for deciding on best treatment for the patient
