The patient had previously been treated with three different immune checkpoint inhibitors (pembrolizumab alone and ipililumab/nivolumab combination therapy) and had been on dabrafenib/trametinib anti-cancer treatment (BRAF-MEK inhibition) until December 2019. Data showed that the size of the target lesion tumour (a lung metastasis) reduced by 44 percent and other non-target lesions stabilized. Biochemical tumour load marker also declined and clearance of pleura fluid was observed. The patient had received two doses of Clevegen at 1 mg/kg with 3-week interval.

Plus while I was hunting I came across this older RNS regarding safe dosing levels .
The no-observed-adverse-effect-level (NOAEL) was 100 mg/kg, which is roughly 30 times higher concentration than needed for Clever-1 occupancy in vivo.

100mg/kg is 10 x the highest dose ever trialled - and still no adverse affects .

Investigating alternative dosing schedules

As a result of key pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic biomarkers suggesting the potential for improved clinical response of bexmarilimab administered with a higher frequency than the current three week interval, regulatory authorities have approved an expansion of MATINS to include two additional CRC cohorts receiving 1 mg/kg dosed at either weekly or two week intervals. These cohorts have started recruiting with results expected during H1 2021. Data from these cohorts will support the design of new and pivotal trials for bexmarilimab.

So even with all the trials they have - this reads as though they are still designing new trials .

Dosing efficacy is well tolerated for increased frequency .

They have been dosing from 0.3mg/kg to 10mg/kg ( also at 1mg/kg and 3mg/kg) at 3 week intervals .

So plenty of headroom to increase the dosing

If upping the frequency of dosing ( which the FDA have approved for the ongoing trials ) is all that is required to maintain suppression of the Clever-1 , they really will have hit the jackpot .

Just checking the patents that Faron have , and noticed that the patent for monitoring efficacy has now been granted 5th Jan 2021 . The IP is important , especially when the discoveries they are making could be blockbusters .

The patent for Traumakine use for multi organ failure was granted back in 2010 , this is partly what the DoD are looking to pursue regarding its use in combat trauma .

This video has been floating about for a week , regarding the ACTIV-2 trials in the states .
I've assumed that it is mostly concerning inhaled Interferon , as the medic states that .
But the other doctor also says Interefron is something they really want to study , but doesn't mention inhaled .

I'm 100% expecting inhaled to be added to their ACTIV-2 trial , but since we had this 59th medical wing D0D tie up , I'm starting to think that we might be in there somewhere in the mix too .
Even if it is only with the DoD to start with , the US authorities are starting to focus big time on anti-virals , and Interferon in particular .

Sounds crazy , but look at the USA - they've already given everyone $1200 each in June plus $500 for every child , now probably another $1400 soon .
Its only money - The UK have borrowed £34 billion just in December . Total so far this financial year £270 billion .

Do you remember the old days when they said they had no money for the NHS etc.
The brakes have been taken off the printing machines now - they will just throw money at anything , regardless of the future damage it will do to the value of the £ .

Maybe the Boston office is more to be close to Harvard for Hibiscus at the moment , but also gives them a good base for conducting their own meetings , and also allows Faron to have a man on the ground , whilst travel restrictions are in place.

Everyone on this board plays their part , from the odd Finnish visitor , to some of the old stalwarts like Zen, and everyone in between .
You could invest in Faron and never visit this site . That's probably the majority of investors . So what we say really only affects us , almost as a sounding board .

Its been a long journey . I've only been here a few years . Some have been here a lot longer .
What I have learnt is that investing here requires patience .
Spitting a dummy out gets you nowhere , as does expecting the second coming after every RNS .

What is does feel like now though , is that we've come to a point where things could really start happening .
Not pre clinical , not phase 1 , not phase 2 , but at the money making end of the journey .

At that stage in a company's journey , some boards get infested with derampers , easy to spot , and easy to ignore , but irritating and a bit like walking into your favourite lounge to find the dogs done a turd on the carpet .

At that point I'll probably take a back seat

But I feel proud that we've all got this far , and I'm really looking forward to the next few months .

Lots of potential partners circling around both therapies - just waiting on further results I'm assuming before pulling the pin.
And apparently I'm quite ' loquacious' lol

US listing was one question I had in mind if I get a chance .

Yesterday saw some vile creatures . I have never reacted to them - I just see them as an unpleasant part of being on a free , open forum. It's a shame indeed though . Money and greed can bring out the worst emotions , and morals , self pride etc soon slip away . What it does do however in these times is sort out the good characters from the flawed ones , and generate respect for the good ones . Something money can't buy .
So don't take the dross posters to heart .
We know who we are .
