If you clicked on the Clevegen page - rather than an in depth explanation of the drug and its progress , you just got a page highlighting the EIC accelerator project . I always wondered why ?

Yeah , can't see the EIC flipping their shares - they are there to support companies and long term growth .
About as solid as the Pension funds invested , along with Timo and Markku .

A Placing lower than current SP will give us a top up opportunity if you were looking for it ( at £3.50 ish has to be a bargain opportunity surely)
But I'm not sure this time . That 1/3rd reserved by EIC means they only need 10 miilion euros elsewhere , not a huge amount given the situation they are in . Plus they are now raising in Nordic area , where interest is high . They've done some pre planning .
90 day lock in - half the usual , so again - investors may be asked to pay more for that freedom .

Gkb , yes I remember those posts . I must admit until it was pointed back then , I hadn't noticed how tight funds were getting towards end of 2020 .

I'm happy , as at this stage , the further down the road they can push the need to do a deal , the bigger that deal will be .

Looks like most of money raised will go to Clevegen development and manufacturing .
Some to help Traumakine study expansion , and also to set up a company base in Boston to handle increased US activities.

I've never seen a placing where a Govt body has pre agreed to buy 1/3rd of shares ( up to 10 million euros ). Perhaps the price won't be that discounted ? who knows . Surely that sort of rubber stamp on it ,will bolster the Placing price .

Last Placing was at £3.49 - you have to think it would be higher this time given how further down the road they are .

When did you think they were going to run out ? It was common knowledge that by Q1 they would do some deal or raise cash .

How else does a pharma company progress until it is at market ?

I think they have done a pretty good job at harnessing grants and soft loans through 2020 , to minimise dilution to shareholders .
Having the EIC pre commit to investment , and being the first company to be invested in , is a pretty good achievement in my book .

Faron will maintain 100% ownership of these therapies through to further stages where results will make any partner deals much more valuable .

8.65m shares is the total number they are allowed to issue , not just this Placing . It reads that they may issue more following the placement if it suits them . The price gets decided tonight . Will be a discount off the SP , but thats to be expected .

The proposed Placing is being carried out within the authorisation granted to the Board by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 18 May 2020 to issue up to a total of 8,650,000 ordinary shares in the Company in a directed share issue and in deviation from the shareholders' pre-emptive rights. As no shares have been issued within the outstanding authority, the Company may issue up to a maximum of 8,650,000 new ordinary shares pursuant to the Placing, which represents approximately 18.4 per cent of all the issued shares and votes in the Company immediately prior to the Placing.

EIC has provided a binding and irrevocable pre-commitment to subscribe for one third (1/3) of the Placing Shares for an aggregate amount of maximum EUR 10 million and minimum EUR 3 million.
