Canada Pension are a bit of an oddity because they hold large long positions in VOD + BT too - they often have a corresponding small short position. A little bit like betting each way on several horseys. From my observation (and IMO) I think they do this to help give their pension investors some stability within this turbulent market! Though open minded to other hypotheses should anyone on here think there's something else in play?

Trisor - I agree high taxes are bad... 14yrs of Tory ineptitude delivered those high tax rates- Tories hiked taxes by more than any other UK Gov has done in the modern era - that's because they failed to grow the economy; leaving the only method to stave off insolvency being through the hiking of taxation. They also redistributed the nations wealth, taking it from the poor and middle classes and handing it over to the 1% who were allowed to dodge paying their fair share of taxes, thanks to the Tories having cut HMRC to the bone.

The biggest problem the UK has is the very wealthy failing to pay up what they owe to the exchequer. Under the Tories the paying of taxes became optional.

No Trisor - Labour are taking from the wealthy, to redistribute towards those who work for a living. That's why the press are up in arms because they're majority funded by wealthy business people who fear losing some of their hoarded monies.

Labour have:

Stopped the nonsense Stamp Duty tax perks (which benefitted property investors by ramping asset prices)

Ended private school VAT tax break for the wealthy.

Ended part of inheritance tax breaks for wealthy landowners.

Ended the non-means tested winter fuel payments to those who are already wealthy.

Hiked NI employer payments to make businesses chip more coin into the treasury coffers.

All these policies have taken cash from the very wealthy, and that's really what you and you kin take issue with here.

Trisor - Your usual nonsense chunterings... the real reason UK has many critical economic woes is 50x billionaire families have been allowed, under failed Tory trickle down economic ideology, to hoard 50% of the UK's wealth.

Tories have dished out cash to their chums and have left many in this nation impoverished.

Today though many of those Tories are busy trying to rewrite their history and are rebranding themselves via joining Reform. Same nonsense ideology though, just a slightly different colour and prose to distract from their true mission; which is to enrich themselves and neglect the average working Brit!

Looking as though word is getting around IMO - if the markets have a fair day then I think we could be looking at 180p+ here fairly easily as the big players pile into this growth stock.

Avocet123 - As per usual you talk much nonsense. These are decent results and IMO they put in a solid floor underneath this stock somewhere within the 151p-162p range.

Summer India IPO to look forward to, solid growth of the global revenues. IMO many will look back in a year or two and be really wishing they'd bought much more SSPG stock. This is set to absolutely fly because the board have been bold with using debt very wisely to rightly leverage such strong growth 👌☀️😎

This is going to payout rather nicely and I'm pretty glad I've accumulated myself a healthy stake in this well run business 🤘

Looks as though they expect the India IPO to complete over the summer, that should be very good news IMO for LTH's.

Net debt has ticked upwards but I don't view this as being concerning because the business is growing fast to service those debts - (won't stop the 'debt purists' from locking onto that part of the story mind!)

They've hiked the interim dividend a whisker and they're expecting potential for share buybacks down the line too.

I think this is all looking pretty positive IMO - DYOR
