Capita were among 518 businesses forced to pay wages that fell short of the minimum wage over a period of years.

Capita, the worst offender, failed to pay £1.5m to 5,543 workers.

The investigations were conducted between 2015 and 2022, but have only recently been completed and back-payments agreed.

No doubt that'll show up on the one of the next sets of CPI results.

IMO AH will continue with these PR antics, of leading holders down the garden path with them AI pipe dreams/fantasies... All the meanwhile selling off the component parts bit by bit, and in so doing just about keeping the wheels turning -with each results set appearing as profits (only made possible by the asset sales). All the while, the size of the business which investors will own will shrink, after each asset sale. Holders who stick it out will find they're left holding many shares of a minnow business. Then a competitor might snap up the remains for tuppence ha'penny.

Thumper1127 - Meanwhile behind the scenes UBS is frantically unloading their accumulated holding of EZJ.... UBS are so full of **** - like when they put a ~90p rating on BT and thereby dragged it down to 102-108p, I bought up a heap down at those levels & then unloaded them for ~145-149p.

Whatever UBS say do the opposite haha!

100% with you there horsey one. IMO the divi certainly helps with limiting the damage done by inflation and with such strong growth prospects here with this stock accumulating whenever it dips makes a lot of sense. I too am awaiting the next Trump Dump to hoover up some more here haha!

Germany - No. unemployed up by 34k - to 2.96 million- ouch- that's flying pretty close to 3 million milestone there. Definitely not good news there!

E.g. 25p special divi and £150-£200million of buybacks... I'd be very content holding for the long run here

Davethehorse - I kinda don't want a bid... because I think the india IPO is going to payout big time... as will them revenues thanks to the board's bold investment approach going for big growth! I'd be quite happy with a special divi and some hefty buybacks plus keeping hold of my accumulated holdings here for the long run. Easily SSPG will be a £10bn+ revenue business in 3-7yrs time.

HAHA - Avocet's posting history is terrible; nonsense comments with no analysis offered whatsoever. He's done much chuntering... all the meanwhile I've moved my money about, to make profitable sales, and to capitalise on investing where the yields over time look to me to be the most healthy (also to keep back some cash too, via some strategic exits from stocks where I think some equities may have become too overcooked/over speculated on).

I've been booking profits and I haven't made any losses.

Macy - I've been clear with voicing what is my opinion. I've always said DYOR.

Trump effects aside, I still think big players will invest heavily into SSPG -and that 180p+ is easily achievable here. SSPG's recent results prove it's growing fast. Yes, some one off costs for IT upgrades but they're periodic and necessary for all businesses.

What's your view on SSPG Macy?

Trisor - Nonsense, USA has a heap of debt, and any action taken which does harm to USA economy will make it tricky for USA and the dollar.
