After all, the business has sounds financials, is currently undertaking buybacks, there's the UK Government ID announcement - which will involve GB Group as a leading ID verifier! Plus lots more will inevitably follow (because if it's good for UK Gov, the wide publicity will no doubt drive many more countries to follow suit! - IMO - DYOR)

The disruption will impact all the European airliners, as so many planes fly through French airspace even if France is not the destination for the flight) but won't impact those companies which have the global scale diversification (as the French disruption would be comparatively miniscule for those firms).

"Digital ID won’t happen" - LOL it's already happened... ID checking/verifying via apps or websites is already required by many services: estate agents, banks, NHS App, HHRC - just to name some examples.

Not to mention the Gov won't be running it themselves, it'll be a service which businesses can tender for no doubt. A little like how some GP practices allow you to access your own medical info, via a service (those practices not using NHS App).

Load of fuss over nothing - typical for ppl to complain about migration, then the moment the Gov suggests a practical solution to improve the situation the right wing rags & commentators jump on the bandwagon - as they don't really want the problem to be solved!

If the US Gov Shutdown news wasn't on the front pages then I'd imagine this would have hit £2.45p today (but it is on the front pages... so I doubt £2.45p will be achieved - probably close around £2.34-£2.36p IMO - Should rocket upwards once the US Gov reopens on a deal being done).

Asos just happened to have released their Full Year Trading Update today, I'm not claiming they're in the same industry because obviously, clothing is very different from airliner travel sales...

Both are consumer facing though, and ASOS stated "the Company continues to focus on higher quality sales against a soft consumer backdrop."

Interesting economic news also emerging from Germany... not looking positive on the jobs and consumer front IMO - DYOR

Asos shares slump as it warns on outlook amid 'soft consumer backdrop' - many other companies reporting the same...

Asos down around 9% currently - it said full-year revenues will miss forecasts and fall more steeply amid weak consumer spending.

Look IMV consumers are going to be cutting back and EZJ still hasnt seen figures above 2019 yet. The recovery won't be seen here until 2027-2029 IMO. Plenty of time to allow the rampers to take losses, and for me to buy in at the time when the SP is a far more attractive LTH buy. ✌️😎☀️

Thumper1127 - Disinflation is near on confirmed already by the data and economic commentators... However, I think this will rapidly give way to deflation because consumer sentiment is very poor, and likely to get worse over the Autumn quarter. Consumers, tired of seemingly endless price hiking, are becoming increasingly savvy and are now even starting to delay buying where they can do so. Falling oil prices and the restrictive monetary policy will weigh prices downwards. EZJ won't be the only business which may struggle to grapple being caught in the middle of an attrition battle between price conscious consumers and still elevated input costs (aside from oil).

Or you could pause to consider that I genuinely think EZJ has been over valued, and rather than getting caught up in the recent ramping I'm content to look beyond the headlines and wait for the right buying opportunity in due course ✅️
