Fleccy you also said "if the customer isn't bothering to take advantage of targeted discounts then that isn't BT's fault." FWIW I whole heartedly agree with this. It was a period when many advocated switching to get good deals, the rise of Uswitch and comparethemeerkat was beginning to take hold. However, when the chips are down I think the courts will end up deeming that BT being in the advantage power position over older generation customers should have done much more to actively help such customers to benefit from lower prices, even actively moving some hard to reach customers onto lower priced deals.
