Who has said the P2 trial has been cancelled?

Busymum, as I said yesterday this is a 1 off. It is for compassionate use as the patient and their doctor will have heard about Foralumab and requested to be allowed to use it having signed a disclaimer accepting the risks of taking an unapproved, investigational drug.
It could even be for a patient who needs the drug and applied for the trial but is not eligible for one reason or another.

It is not a substitute for the main P2 trial in MS. Nor will it provide any kind of indicator that is likely to influence any FDA decisions provided that it does not lead to a serious adverse event.

We need to see it in isolation as a result of Tils allowing a drug going through trials to be made available as a treatment. I held shares in a US company who offer a treatment for eczema and they make clear that while the drug is going through trials it is not currently available for Compassionate use.

So if it's not specific to 4D why post it on here? There are already a lot of nervy investors here who don't need confusing further by talk of dodgy Spac sponsors.

BHarris, you are also talking about risks to investors in the Spac itself. Not the target company.
If there are specific risks to 4D from this deal can you please outline them? Otherwise it's a bit of an outside issue.

Spacs are not homogeneous. Some are good and set up with fair and reasonable terms with regard to how the Spac sponsors are rewarded. Others are not so good.
Just because you have seen a video on Spacs does not mean that has any bearing on the deal 4D has done here.
It's a bit late to be looking into it now. I looked into Spacs in general and the Longevity set up when the deal was announced. The set up seemed fine and the Spac has now gone. It has been closed down and there is just one company now called 4D Pharma

I think going forward I will discount Blautix and just value according to the new core programmes.

Thanks Lukin. The radio silence on Blautix is noted. Will be interesting to see if mentioned in annual report. Could be that silence due to still looking for partner or could have been shelved as Thetanix was before it. The final data was due on it and I think it still hasn't been released. These things do take time so could still spring a surprise.
The emphasis being given to Parkinsons is getting stronger and stronger.

People who got spiked want an exit. They are desperate to talk the price up so they can get back out again. They don't want to do this by selling their shares to long term investors. They want to attract the 10% herd who will then get spiked like they did but at least they will have got rid and can get back to 10 per centing themselves

Also the news is all a bit meh. No details on the P2 trial other than it will be in Brazil. They previously hinted that at least part of the trial would be in the US. Makes sense to do it in Brazil as case numbers still incredibly high.
The compassionate use case is nice to know. But even if the results are great in that 1 patient no conclusions can be drawn other than that's nice, the patient got better and the world will be a happier place.
