My thoughts are that they are working to an "agenda" in that they do not want the share price to go up as long as there is that big overhang to clear. Too much money to dish out to the "old" Woodford shares, get that cleared and watch this go-go-go-go-go. I would have thought that there is a deal "in waiting" just sitting there for the B.O.D to say "yes please". If they can delay the new funding for as long as possible, and the administrators of Woodford having to work to a close, then who is going to have to "act" first ??? If TRX run out of money they will have to take up the funding, but with the recent "free cash available" at the moment, then they don't want to start paying interest on money that is not immediately needed. All in my own opinion of course.
Guys, I think we will need an "AirBUS 380" because we are all hoping this is going to fly high - I have already booked my seat on the upper deck - First Class.
I think most of us, especially us LTH's, have the same obsession, but as some of us may have been here "years" before most others, then our pockets have been mostly emptied as we have toped-up so many times as the share price has fallen !!
Was thinking about adding at this low price, but if we look at the worst scenario from the recent quarterly report then we could still have another 5 months to go before Funding is finalised. Still time to see this share price slip even lower !!
"The Company continues to interact with potential domestic and international capital-providers during the Lockdown and anticipates that the process to secure the balance of funding required to commence development of Phase 1 of Makhado will be completed in Q2/Q3 CY2020 with construction commencing shortly thereafter ."
see someone on ADVFN mentioning they bought at just under 250p near the end of play today !!
Morning Sonnets,
I am sure plenty of other 'posters' on this board have experienced the same negative experience after shares they have held have been consolidated.
You ask what shares do I refer to, so to name just two or three that are or had traded here on AIM, that I have held and lost money on - Cambridge Mineral Resources (100% loss) - MC Mining, formerly Coal of Africa, (90% down) - Shearwater Group (30% down, but expected to recover). All 3 of these companies have / had consolidated, and if I were to look back through shares I previously held I am sure there are a few more.
Sonnets, how many times have you had any shares consolidated ? I only ask as you say you would welcome seeing your shares consolidated here.
Every company I have held that has done a consolidation then I have subsequently seen a reduction in value of my holding as well when the mm's "eat into" the new higher share price - lowering it.
Carry on at this rate then we might not need new funding or at least less, as we could be self sufficient with the income generated by the high demand of our products - now there's a thought - wishful thinking !!
Quarterly Update by the end of this month, so within the next 9 trading days.
Hi chester,
better to start off with - Arran Pilot - First Early. I say this because Arran Pilot tend to be smaller, so lighter, and then maybe you could work your way up to the bigger / heavier King Edwards. Don't want to over do it to early.
Subject: Exercise idea for the over 60's.?
Great exercise in these times!!
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface where you have plenty of room at each side
With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there for as long as you can
Try to reach a full minute and then relax
Each day you will find you can hold this position for just a bit longer
After a couple of weeks move up to 10-lb potato bags
Then try 50-lb potato bags
Then try 100-lb potato bags and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb in each hand and hold your arms straight out for a full minute
(I am now at this level myself)
After you feel confident at that level then you can try putting a potato in each bag
Good luck, and remember not to over do it.
SmileSmile
TOB, hope you do better than I did. I sent Caitlin 3 emails, one of which I told them just how much money I have invested here which equates to a considerable amount, and respectfully asked if we could have some sort of progress update. Never had one reply, but I suppose the RNS we got this week does actually tell us all that they can at this point in time. Good luck with your request.
Pokerchips, This may answer your question, taken from the 30th March announcement :
COVID-19
During this pandemic, the Board's priority is to safeguard the health and safety of the Group's employees and local communities, as well as support and enforce government actions to slow the spread of the virus. The Company has implemented UK and US government-led policies in relation to the COVID-19 crisis and will continue to monitor the evolving situation. Currently, the San Antonio facility remains fully operational with no material impact on processing. The facility is aligned with the recommendations from the American Association of Tissue Banks regarding tissue procurement guidelines and there continues to be no constraints on supply of tissue. The re-prioritisation of health care professionals has led to a slight decline in the number of elective procedures undertaken, which has been most evident in urogynaecology. However, demand for the Company's BioRinse(TM) portfolio continues to exceed capacity. Consequently, the Company currently has not experienced any material reduction in net revenues versus expectations.
Further announcements will be made at the appropriate time.
Morning chester,
All looking positive still. Looks like your £10K purchase was timed right. I did manage to find a few more £'s this morning and add another 250K shares in the ISA.
What reassures me more from this mornings RNS is the loan granted by the US Government would not have been given if it looked as if the company were going to collapse in a couple of months time - just gives Gareth and the B.O.D more time to cement the right fundraising going forward. It also sounded as though Gareth was more upbeat himself about the prospects of getting the right Investors onboard in the next couple of months.
Nice start to today with this RNS.
nice one chester,
and also added another 228944 shares myself into my ISA this morning. I will have to call back more 'dosh' from my easy access on-line a/c if I am to add more, and as soon as we get the long awaited 'positive' RNS then that will be done.
I am intrigued as to what will happen first thing Tuesday morning as no one could get a "buy" quote from just after 3pm on Friday, but anyone could sell as many as they wanted. I done a dummy sell and was quoted 0.625p for any amount I cared to sell (I didn't sell any). Something positive tomorrow morning ?? GLA
Can't even buy £25 worth, not that anyone in their right mind would want to buy so few. Can sell 500,000 though !!
The mm's obviously want your shares guys as I can sell as many as I want, but cannot get a price to buy, and that includes any small amount
Morning chester,
Your and my sentiments here look to run in parallel, and we all get the occasional negative thought especially after being 'burnt' big time as I was in 2009. However, I do agree with you that there will be some sort of reconciliation here. The company have come so far, have applied for and been granted with the authorisations for their products etc. The demand for these products outstrips supply at the moment, but hopefully soon the B.O.D. will give us a positive solution.
I personally do think the B.O.D. have behaved disgracefully though toward us small pi's and they have been working to an "agenda" here for many months. Fingers crossed for us all who have stayed for the "longer journey".
