With you on that Jantand. Been here since 2007 and seems strange to have only 25% of my holding after selling 75% last Friday. However, have not spent the cash received, and a dummy buy this morning I could buy them all back without adding any more cash. Will "sit on the fence" and watch closely for a while. GLA
Well Allend47 at least you got away with £5K, whilst I could not get a live price to sell , and when I could H.L. were only offering 2p less than the Bid, so sold 75% of my holding at 20.1p which is not showing. I had just a few more shares than you had, and also been retired for 11 years now - oh well **** happens. All the best to you in the future.
is that a lot of people are going to make a lot of money - and the best bit ? - I am going to be one of them - whoopee !!
My strategy is to hold my current holding until approximately 6p, then to sell 20% which will return my total outlay here, then that will leave me with a couple million shares going forward as a "free play". Might even add more in the ISA this coming April so could then sell 20% sooner than 6p to achieve this objective - fingers crossed.
My last BUY this morning is showing RED @ 1.0012
TOB, you may recall we recently had a day when most of the trades were "red" yet we know that some of those red sells were "buys" - today we have a reversal of colour and we know, as from my own dummy sell which would have been reported as a blue buy should I have gone through with that trade, that quite possibly some of those blue trades are sells. The MM's have their own agenda, and for what ever reason it won't be the last time we experience "these agenda's".
I think all the 1.028p etc are "sells" as I just done a dummy sell for 125,000 shares and got offered 1.031p to sell.
Went to top-up this morning after the drop and HL wanted 1.08p to buy, the crafty buggers, so gave it 5 minutes and got in at 1.0495p.
my guess is that the 2.5m sell is actually a mm worked buy, that's why the sp has been lower for a good bit of the day shaking the loose rocks out to fill that order.
111 share chats up to 18:52 and 105 trades. Be interesting to see if that '1' trade late in the day has any significance tomorrow !!
As I have said before, I’m a Long Term Holder and still hold shares bought at 21p, so have also traded “here and there” (just like others) trying to get my average down. Not so easy when this share has more downs than ups, and if you miss a couple of days then that can be an opportunity lost.
Can’t be too much longer now hopefully before we get positive news on financing which hopefully will put us on an upward trajectory never to revisit this low share price ever again.
With the lack of any other information, then today's sp drop could well be an end of week mm orchestrated manoeuvre in case Link decide on a big 'dump'. Don't want to throw too much dosh their way !!
Today's RNS that David Brown has resigned with immediate effect has come as a bit of a shock.
Let's hope so Hemms, as a 20% spread and a drop of 2p on the 'bid' today doesn't say much for yesterdays Quarterly Update
Not so long ago it was reported in a newspaper that Woodford was out in China looking to see if he could possibly start a new business there. Who knows, some of these big buys we have seen could be Woodford himself, as he certainly has the money !!
that from 13:38pm at 5 minute intervals x4, a sell of 475619 shares was executed - Link ?
c_r you have stated - "Sadly, the latest results does not paint a rosy picture of the company."
However, it does paint a picture that tells us the company is progressing the financing and the projects whichever way you look at it. We all know the points you mention need to be addressed, and no doubt will be done, as Mr Brown has had a monumental task in turning this company around over the past few years and I don't think he has any idea to let it sink now.
I have been invested here for the past 13 years and experienced all the 'crap' that has happened in that time, but personally, I now do feel the last piece of this "jig-saw" will soon be put into place. GLA
is the most positive news we have had for some time - maybe we have turned that corner at last !!
Your Call....Best of Luck
Indy, why don't you cancel your request and do it yourself like you said - most probably would be a dam sight cheaper.
