Tuners is correct. The SP was falling through the floor and without the intervention by GH, I wouldn’t like to speculate where it would have ended.
Whether he did it to protect our investments ( that includes his own investments) or not., it doesn’t matter now. GH doesn’t owe us any explanation. In any case, what would we have to talk about? :0)

Does anyone else feel that since Christmas the last two drilling reports from Newcrest have lacked the excitement of SB’s words describing Havieron, compared to earlier reports?
Now we have GGP issuing a presentation apparently saying a lot more drilling has been completed and results are awaited.

If you were trying to accumulate a percentage of GGP shares, then would you downplay things to try and get the shares as cheaply as you could?

The presentation is really great, but has this been done for the purposes of bringing new money into the business? A share issue, hence why the sp has not reacted to the news this morning.

A share issue is not a bad thing. We will need more funds in the future especially if SD has ambitions to grow the company.

I also note the presentation comes after resolution 5 was passed, enabling such actions.

It seems we have been waiting and waiting for news. It’s coming to the end of April and now people are saying May, so I may as well cool expectations a little more and say June before CK decides to say something. And that’s because year end results are more than likely due in July and some more directors will want to sell options before the closed period.
Beginning to lose faith in CK and this company.

We should get the results of resolution 5 tomorrow morning. Did the withdrawal of this resolution at the AGM, together with other factors have a detrimental effect on the sp?

Hopefully the resolution will be passed tomorrow and it is another thing we can put behind us. If it fails or is withdrawn again, will it have any effect?

The initial MRE was delivered on the 10th December (approx 45 days later).
We were told in the last update on the 11th March that all the drilling had been done in the MRE area so will we get an updated figure 45 days later at the end of April?

The only caveat is that they stated they were drilling outside the existing MRE area to increase the inferred resource.

We will know in just over a weeks time. Good luck.
