Very good news . I am certainly hoping the share price will start to recover ….. but after the dividend reinvestment at the end of the month. But am happy to take the good news as want profit for deleverage as well as older ship sales. Off to the pub now….. became a grandad today !
I tend to go to the rns’s for updates but have belatedly noticed that on Taylor maritime webpage under presentations there is an excellent trading update presentation that supplies more information than in the rns. Definitely worth a look ….. but I may have been the last one to spot it !
I have been keeping an eye on the indexes. The lowest for bdiy index i recodred was on July 26 being 962. For bhsi index August 4 being 390. Since then they have risen to 1166 and 433, an increase of 21 % and 11% respectively. For those new here these are the indexes that apply to the majority of ships in taylors/ grindrod portfolio. The higher the index, the bigger the earnings. On this basis I have made a further investment. Have a great day all. Sam
Hi Mike, think that will prove a good move. I also nearly did this morning it am so over weight on them and with the dividend at month end will get more then . Great news re the Bhsi, long May it continue. Rather overdone to say the least . The share price I am confident will come back with a vengeance. I re looked at figures this morning and debt even with the index has been coming down nicely
Interesting . Thank you
This share goes up and down like a yo yo. Does anyone know why ? Thoughts ?
Hi Mike , yes agree with you re q4. Just finished reading the hard copy of the annual report whilst waiting for jury service. No issues for me. It’s the two year cycle as you say . Just saw the simply Wall Street article. Thought it ridiculous . We know rates and the acquisition are the key events . Information in the report on largest holders makes for interesting news. Some big hitters
My first dividend here . Are people reinvesting them or taking the cash ? Would welcome inputs as have only recently purchased
