Hi Krusty, thank you for advising that. Some companies are truly awful for replying to shareholder questions .Ours I have found to be excellent. Went x dividend yesterday with no weakness in price so just hope it starts to strengthen. Charter rates not brilliant at the moment but debt free imminently. A lovely position for any company to be in.

Hi Krusty , good to hear . I believe all questions from shareholders are seen by the ceo for comment / response and no idea where he could be in the world right now . They normally respond quite quickly so hopefully before end of this short week . Bst as always Sam

Interesting article on trade winds webpage yesterday . Company spokesman quoted as saying paying down debt so to be in a position to grow again when markets/economics/politics more settled. Quoted younger fleet that can carry more as per Mike comment

I am aware that the company is focusing very much on reducing overheads but I have no details , perhaps manpower and office sensitive . The reply from the company should be really interesting and together with your note will hopefully bolster confidence for everyone

Hi Krusty, I wish I had a simple answer to your question but I don't. First point I would say, however, is I would encourage you to email the company at investor relations with your comments and question .They are excellent at responding. Contact is kael@tminvestments.com. He is also under instructions to pass any shareholder queries direct to the CEO , Please let me know if you do that and obviously with what reply you get ! I nearly forwarded it myself but felt that that was wrong for me to do.

I attempted to answer myself, some positive points, some equally negative but it would be speculation. Facts from the company would be better

Good morning all . I await Mikes informative views which are better than mine but on a quick run through of the update note with interest the following .

1. In such an uncertain world and shipping so cyclical a smart move to go for in essence zero debt . No one knows how world events are going to end up following this roller coaster period.

2. Healthy dividend maintained when I think a number of companies, particularly in Uk , may start to cut.

3. Reduction in CEo salary given not least reduction in number of ships sensible and indeed decent .

4. Nav discount to share price still sizeable.

5.number of remaining days covered at a very healthy rate and much higher than last quarter .

Overall results could always be better but content with these . Some will suggest perhaps the company is acting too cautiously but I have never seen world events being managed the way they currently are by the west so I for one amin favour of such a strategy . As a new investor in the company its frustrating for me this no rns, let alone for you long term investors !

HI Krusty, hope this finds you well ? We all know that shipping is cyclical and that the current markets events are unusual in the extreme and that they will eventually pass. For all of us with this being a young company and post the grindrod acquisition which came with a few issues, the key is whether we are moving towards profitability if not actually reached it. Encouraging that the continuing family buys which are large and regular, but they can afford to lose a chunk. We cant !

From when the share price was edging towards £2 the income of this company seems to be pitiful at the moment . Does anyone share this view or am

Well shipping shares have certainly taken a hammering given the events the other side of the Atlantic . Results out at end of week so good luck all . Is this a buying opportunity for shipping shares and to get one’s average down I wonder ? Warren Buffett would say yes but need strong nerves at a time like this

Do we think this fall might be down to a leak that a bid is not going to come. ?

Many thanks Kristof. The company sold off all its Chinese built vessels post the Grindrod acquisition and moved to an all Japanese fleet. Looked like a good move then as the fleet ended up younger and bigger bulk but looks now like an exceptional move given Trumps activities. Fingers crossed for results
