With the Alkaid#2 well up next, here’s the link to that June 2019 presentation showing how the Alkaid#1 well had been drilled on the edge of the reservoir into the type B facies of shaly and cemented sands and not the ‘sweet spot’ type A facies.
And of course we know they still managed 80 to 100bopd - whilst the well was still cleaning up frac fluids -
from just a 6 foot frac in the 240feet of net pay.

…and Alkaid #1 was drilled at the reservoir edge, and not at an optimum location.
As shown on the 2019 presentation page 15, it was drilled into the poorer facies of shaly and cemented sands, not into the better facies A part of the reservoir.
And yet they still managed 80 to 100 bopd from just one 6 foot vertical frac and with the well still cleaning up.

Arithmetically, I make that: 1frac per 150ft gives 6.66fracs per 1000ft and to get 150bopd from that 1000ft is just 22.5bopd per frac - and
: 1frac per 250ft gives 4fracs per 1000ft and to get 150bopd from that 1000ft is just 37.5bopd per frac
so, to me, these expectations appear to be very conservative when compared to what the single 6ft test frac at Alkaid 1 achieved by way of delivering 80 to 100bopd when it was only apparently about 40% cleaned up.
Any thoughts?

The Alkaid well test RNS:
The Brookian ZOI has an estimated gross 400 feet and net 240 feet of pay.
A six foot interval was perforated and stimulated and the well flowed naturally until 30% of the frac fluid was recovered, when a nitrogen gas lift system was initiated. Light oil (40 degree API) was recovered and c.40% of the frac fluid was returned within the first 14 hours.
The well was shut in for 72 hours due to equipment problems and severe weather conditions (stage 3 Blizzard).
The well was then turned back on and the oil cut increased steadily to +40%, producing about 80-100BOPD with occasional slugs of oil producing at much higher rate.

So, I read this as: if 80bopd = approx 40% oil cut, then, if time had allowed to fully clean up to 100% oil,
a 100% oil flow could proportionately have equated to ~ 200bopd - and that from just a 6 foot vertical stimulated section.
Looks to me that that bodes pretty well for a long horizontal at Alkaid#2.

Last year on the 30th March we received the Interim Results with a bit of a mention of how things were going...
"Pantheon Resources plc ("Pantheon" or "the Company"), the AIM-quoted oil and gas exploration and production company with 100% working interests in several conventional projects on the North Slope of Alaska, announces its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2020 together with operational highlights for the half year and the period beyond."

With the current oil price and all that oil production we're benefiting from in the Chad & Cameroon deal, don't you feel we're here, at ~30p, sitting on top of a very coiled spring?

And on the same presentation, to add some detail to what is potentially Pantheon’s flagship reservoir:
At time 26:36 Dr Ed Duncan, Geoscience consultant to Pantheon, goes through explaining the details on how they see the Theta West Fan [ also known as the Basin Floor Fan – BFF - the lower reservoir section of which has just been flow tested at the Talitha well, which was drilled early last year]
The Talitha well intercepts this reservoir at a non-optimum location – the ‘sweet spot’ for which is about 10 miles away from Talitha and is where the Theta West well is currently readying to hopefully show us all, just how huge this reservoir really is.
So, coming up soon we should have drill log info from the Theta west well followed by flow testing of the Theta West / Basin Floor Fan, at the ‘sweet spot’ Theta west well.
The results of this should enlighten us all – hopefully, that all the great looking logs, 3D seismic, data and those comments of: “awesome,” “spectacular,” “world class,” “very, very exciting stuff” – hopefully they are proved up to be fully justified.
Meanwhile, moving up-hole in the Talitha well, they next perforate, Frac and test the Slope Fans.
Then following on at Talitha with a perforate, Frac and flow test of the Shelf Margin Deltaic.
And then in the summer, at the Alkaid part of Pantheon’s projects, the drilling from a gravel pad beside the Dalton highway of the second Alkaid well – a horizontal long term test/ production well, based on the successful flow test done in the Alkaid 1 well back in 2019 – see RNS 20may2019 – “Alkaid Well - successful flow test.”
