I get the feeling that many here have simply bet on a horse whose name they liked in the paper. An out and out gamble. I read a really thick comment where the person said that the sp had moved much since August (clearly never did maths at school and doesn't understand percentages). This is an AIM stock. It will be very volatile. If you think that Wales and/or Greenland will come good then load up/stay if not sell. The low Mcap suggests plenty of upside and the RNS was a decent progress report. We await actual results but thus far I have seen nothing of concern. GLA DYOR.

Cut SS salary to 50,000 with the balance payable in options at 1p, 1.5p and a £1m bonus for sp at 2p and another at 3p. In the absence of this our holdings just keep tanking with a miracle now needed. A year or so ago my 1.3 average looked healthy, lol

Mercifully I sold 75% at 0.20 and bought Alba at 0.15. I made 2 errors 1) initially believing Sanderson. 2) Telling people here which meant that Tymers then appeared on the Alba site!!

100% as predicted. He wanted to raise just before planning consent on any spike but with the delay was not able to. At least now you can buy on the run up to planning without so much risk of a placing but with Billy no shares in charge he could go for some more.

We had this last week. At the time it gave me a chance to top up at 0.31. I reiterate thus far nothing unusual has happened.

Thus far there is nothing unusual here today. Everyday has experienced volatility with the SP swinging as the 15% profit takers move in and then more buyer appear. It is the fact that it has not just been a vertical rise that makes me feel more relaxed because the profit taking has been taking place every day.

Hmm Barnet. Well done for making money extremely poor logic in that you have linked this to UKOG and HH. If that was your impaired reasoning then whilst it may have got you a gain you really needed to move on. This is about Welsh Gold and Greenland they could give HH to that fool Sanderson and it would make no difference to the SP.

positive please short this as much as you can. Then when you are skint hopefully you will foxtrot oscar. This will only be lower if the assets are simply not there and we have both Wales and Greenland. I do not know if the assets are there and nor do you so don't make out you know something that you don't. Also be aware this sank with UKOG. It was previously much higher in the 3-4 p range. It is now rising on other assets. Shorting at this price when it is a long way off its highs is a big gamble.

Nookie, fair play a profit is a profit and you should always leave some on the table for the next man but not usually the lions share! This share is decoupling from UKOG and having a re-rate. The mcap remains tiny vs the potential assets. Just my view but this should go considerably higher.

Hi Nookie, I tend to agree. ST is a ramper and Doric a deramper. Both have personal agenda's. Virtually everything ST has said is a simple cut and paste with opinion lumped on top. It is tempting to read a few posts and call it research Actually that is pure laziness. Better to read all RNS's over the last 3 years and check out the charts. These boards give you a bit of an idea of the sentiment and occasionally a view you haven't considered. That is why you should always DYOR since at least you know it is trustworthy and without spin.

Doric it is always sad when someone turns up late to the party and try to dis it! Assuming you do have an IQ that is in positive territory one can only surmise that you did a short last week or that you would like a pull back to buy in. You need to remember that whilst a share price ultimately depends on the balance sheet sentiment plays a big part. By definition sentiment is emotion and not logical. No one knows the exact value of the gold in Wales or the value in Greenland. Thus we speculate. However, there is a good chance that the value is substantially higher than the current mcap indicates. It is this probability that is driving the sp and will do so until facts materialise. In the meantime the sp will be volatile.Personally I am happy to enjoy the ride. I have no idea what the eventual sp will be and nor does anyone else, which is part of the fun but believe it should be higher than this. GLA, DYOR

It is not the same thing. You can have oil present but due to water etc be unable to extract commercially. Also Gatwick is an area of major population density with resultant sensitivities etc. In contrast in Wales we have a former gold mine to work with that was no longer commercial at $300 per ounce and has never been mined using modern methods. Modern techniques have identified new seams as well as having the existing targets. Extraction is both cheap and simple you just need a high enough concentration and sufficient quantity. Fortunately the existing structures substantially reduce costs.

Hi Spev, I have a rule that initially I never invest more than 1% of my portfoilo into an AIM stock and thereafter never more than 2%. Thus if you get caught with an SXX or UKOG it is annoying but not ruinous and a 10 bagger can still make a big difference. I hold Thor and Alba (both in profit) but also 88e and Amur (both underwater but both having great potential). Missed GGP but would buy sub 20p. I mention Amur due to your comment re Nickel. GLA

The placing was a surprise!! However, the 2 day pullback has dropped the price to top up territory for me. I didn't think I would see this price again. Just got another 1m at 0.318. I also bought another 1m of Thor. Both companies have lots going on and have raised cash recently to drill and develop. GLA

This is an excellent title for a thread and says it all. SS told us the train was leaving the station and we would have oil of National Significance. Thereafter eyewatering dilution to fund his salary. With planning meeting delayed until end of October he needs another spike for a placing. We now get gas news and surprise no one is biting. You just know that the 4 letter word is just gagging to do a placing. No integrity = No investor confidence. The sad thing is he may now be telling the truth. Its like the boy who cried wolf. But if he suddenly bought £100,000 worth of shares it would be a different matter. FAT chance!

Thor did a placing a few weeks back in a similar fashion. The sp is now circa 50% higher than the placing price. It depends why they want money? To keep the lights on or fast track commercially viable projects? The problem with Alba was that whilst they had the assets they had no money and the sp had tanked due to links with UKOG. That problem has been resolved by the increase in the sp and resultant ability to raise funds.
