Rastuss, business is indeed a game as is investment. You will need win on every deal or every investment but sound planning and strategy is essential. I have been transparent in my strategy - which is to make money. When challenged for a similar strategy to make money GK ran for the hills and filtered me. Great strategy Gk, lol! Similarly I have heard nothing from you. All we hear is moaning. Ok so **** happens , have a moan, but then come up with a plan to get even and then make money. If you are here for any other reason than to make money you are wasting both your own time and everyone else’s.

I was unfortunate, like many here I suspect, to be caught out by that despicable liar SS at UKOG. My strategy, as I stated on the UKOG board, was to sell UKOG at just over 0.2 and but Alba at 0.15. If Alba hit 0.7 I escape unscathed. With investments you win some and you lose some but you have to treat it as a game and move on not constantly posting as some do here. I guess I am lucky in that I never invest more than 1% of my holdings in an AIM stock and can thus be more relaxed than others if it goes wrong.

Gkb47, as a long term holder I hear you but I strongly suspect that the plight of the assets was well known within the company well before the RNS data hit. The abject failure was the the root cause of the change of management albeit the sp tanked later. The new management are trying to go in a different direction and hopefully will be successful. Similarly the legacy assets still may surprise. I have invested at the lower sp and am hoping for 4p to break even and given NAV forecasts for Saltfleetby I believe I have a fair chance of escaping unscathed. In contrast I see little to be gained by your constant moaning. The objective here is to make money . I have stated my strategy what is yours? If all you want to do is to moan it is just a bit sad and pointless. The same can be said in equal measure to many of the sad act derampers here - get a life!

Interesting but it just confirms what we already know. We need the oil price to rise, debt to reduce and in the meantime a decent drill would be most useful. But ultimately it is about PO since determines Cashflow and value of assets. I am looking post Covid in vaccine land . I have a 22 p average and expect to make good money here. GLA . The price of Nickel is not relevant on a daily basis to the Sp but is of massive strategic relevance in terms of planning. A mine is a fixed cost business the ability to sell at a higher cost than the sp is critical to all discussions on earning the mine, it’s development and future value. If B/e is $4000 Nickel at $3000 forecast is pretty dire. At $5000 interesting, $7000 more interesting at $15,0000 drool worthy! The strategic planning behind the scenes is is being propelled by the price of zinc and its future direction. That is why things are happening! The resultant SP is a symptom.

The time to short a stock is following a big spike post a very positive RNS. Shorting when the price is down and an RNS is due is just intellectually derelict unless it is for 5 pence and you don't care.

Another post talking about the cash and ignoring debts! Yawn. If you have 2k in the bank and a 6k credit card bill it is relevant to consider how the credit card bill will be paid. It is all about sustainably repaying the debt and not having to sell assets at fire sale prices. The Ugandan deal is critical and a news paper article, whilst helpful, does not cut it. We need an RNS. I see 50p by Xmas with an RNS and a rise in oil prices. GLA

Lat, of course it is about debt serviceability but to talk about assets with no reference to debt is just plain misleading. A billion in the bank does not make you rich if you have 3 billion in debts and need to pay them back. Your other assets can be sold in a fire sale at a pittance. I am no deramper and in at 22p hoping for 50p by Xmas. I just find vacuous ramping posts annoying! I look forward to an RNS.

Latpulldown, companies go bust when they run out of money. This deal plus existing cash, plus hedged oil price will keep this going as long as oil goes up. BUT please stop embarrassing yourself and comparing the cash to the mcap with no reference to the debts and the repayment schedule. The sp is a reflection of the markets belief in Tullows ability to repay those debts.

Companies do not go bust because they are unprofitable but when they can’t pay their debts. For Tullow cash flow is critical in the face of large debts and payback schedules, hence the sp. The 575m is critical and the sp reflects this. But ultimately we just need the oil price to rise. Check out China vaccines...

FWIW I have been here since September 2017 and have a B/E of 3.5p. The risks remain very real but I am very happy with my holding. I have added this year and along with Alba and Thor have it as one of my 3 most likely to 10 bag in the next 12 months. It could happen, here's hoping but I know the risks and know that it could fall. That is AIM. High risk/high reward. GLA

Our main asset is a nickel mine in Russia with assets still to 100% prove, no road, no smelter and needing funding. Dilution, asset grab, political, it may be endlessly delayed, currency risk. That is just a starter in terms of risk without the risk that technology could move beyond nickel for EV’s. GFM paid loads of money to the Chinese 8 years ago for a license....it remains tied up in red tape and without it the mine runs at 1/3rd capacity.

Akr my only tip would be to ignore the sp and focus on the mcap. Then look at the assets in play and work out what probability applies. If it was a done deal that this would have an mcap of 300m in 6 months the sp would reflect that already with only a slight discount. This is AIM . It is ultra high risk. DYOR and remember that you will never win them all and nothing is a cert. I have 3 potential 10 plus baggers this, Alba and Thor. You need patience, research, discipline and luck.

Crocqman, !00% agree. Not only that but SS has lost all trust. The RNS on Turkey should have sent the SP higher but all it did was made us wince at the resultant capital raise with the major problem being serial failure. All the promises of SS have been broken and he never buys shares. Who wants to give more money to a person with such a dismal track record. If we had a new CEO tackling Turkey it would be a different story. SS must go. Toxic, useless and now holding back this company.

Oily I’ve been here since 2016. I ‘ve read every RNS and watched every video pretty much like all LTH. Luckily I am well diversified and sold 3/4 of these at0.2 to buy Alba at 0.15. If Alba hits 0.7 I break even on my whole UKOG experience. I transparently told others here what I was doing ...sadly it led to Tymers arriving on the Alba board!
