Noob, you strike me as a bright guy. On 1st Feb the company said there would be an information blackout until 30th March and they have not issued a substantive RNS since. Its the 29th tomorrow and thus far silence is golden so perhaps one of us understood and the other one didn't - based solely on actions, lol! I will leave others to make it up for themselves whilst in contrast I await an RNS on the 30th.

And yet there has been no RNS from the company since the 3 substantive RNS's. They made it clear not to expect any news until the 30th and thus far, despite the bleatings of many, the company have not issued a single substantive RNS. Keep bleating and posting drivel but personally I am interested in the RNS on the 30th and the news contained therein.

Just remember that the CEO bought a shed load of shares recently and probably has more shares than anyone here. He wants the SP to rise as much if not more than we do, so be patient. If the CPR confirms the discovery the sp will multi bag and then a JV will happen leading to a further re-rate. Anytime in the next year suits me fine...

Steamboat why do you believe that the sp here is 100% correlated to the price of oil and we should judge our leader accordingly? We all know that we have millions of barrels in reserves that will take years to pump out of the ground. The spot price of oil will be applied to a tiny fraction of our production over the life of the company. So why would our company value be 100% correlated? It is very relevant regarding current cash flow and sustainability of short term debt as we have witnessed over the last few years. The sp went to 7p for a reason and has rebounded as the oil price has lessened the strain of short term debt and allowed us to invest again. I am a LTH and very happy here.

Please forgive me but I am getting really bored here. Say you have 150m barrels of oil and produce 15,000 BOPD = 105,000 per week. If spot moves 5% then you might get to sell perhaps one weeks worth of production at that price ( assuming nothing is hedged) = 0.07% of your total amount of oil. Unless the spot price increase is accompanied by a corresponding increase in futures the impact on the SP would be minimal. Anyone expecting a 5% increase in the company value simply displays a lack of knowledge.

Again I refer you to the futures price of oil. We can't sell our x million barrles this month. Indeed we can only sell a tiny fraction so why should the value of entire company move 15% when spot price does. A bit of research reveals that futures prices for a year or so in the future are in the 70's and 80's. A bit more research shows that much of current output is hedged and thus does not benefit from any increase.What surprises me is that people even ask this question.

JMAX why do you think that this is a tracker for oil prices? Tullow is correlated but not a tracker of the spot price. I suggest that you take a look at futures prices and then reflect that an oil well with x miliion barrels can only pump x thousand a day and the production will occur over several years. So oil spot up 15% Tullow up 15% NO! Yes really do not understand this at all!

It entered the FTSE250 on 18/3. It is up circa 10% since. Enough said!

Jmax, again you are missing the point. People were talking about shorting. My point is that it is foolish to short "NOW". Next month it will be game on in terms of shorting etc but only a fool would short whilst the institutions are forced buyers. I hope this helps. I have made good money in the past buying shares when they enter the index and holding for a week or two.

Jmax, you miss the point. When you are in the index already the institutions have their holdings and dont need to buy. When you enter the index tracker funds start with no hoildings ansd are forced buyers. This continues for a few weeks until they have the correct weightings. The material point is that only a fool would short at a point where there are forced buyers.

The reality is that a certain volume of gas is hedged. It doesn't matter where it is produced from. If the volume produced was poor then we may need the side track to top it up. However, there should be surplus anyway with the side track additional. This is not rocket science!

Their actions are transparent to all as are the rampers. They need to know though that they fool no one and that what they do makes them look pretty sad and rather pointless.

There is a saying "show me the money". Well here it translates to "show me the gas". All the posting and ranting is pointless we just need gas.

Head, since you have asked I think that ramping is equally pointless. However, there is a difference between a shareholder getting excited about making money and being sometimes a little childish and your actions. You hold no shares. There are probably thousands of shares that you don’t hold why not post on those shares? Why the fixation here? It is bordering on a mental health issue unless you are a paid climate change activist.

Head, the issue for me is that you incessantly state the bleeding obvious. If success was guaranteed the sp would reflect it. You hold no shares but post negativity on an unhealthily frequent basis. Everyone here who has done any research knows the history and that it is a race against time. If we can get gas in May , the sidetrack is successful and gas stays high we make money. If gas doesn’t arrive we are toast. If I missed anything please let me know. You can run along now your job is done…yawn!
