Couple of guys have heard from GDR / Walbrook that they think it’s due shortly. philjo provides that information.

GDR expect to announce something towards end of year for POC. It’s in the vox meeting I think.

DNA Nudge have disrupted that market so even though their product may not work even though the gov think otherwise, it appears to be ahead of the rest in terms of commercialisation. Think NCYT have a product being tested in care homes etc at the moment.

Something to note here, yes POC is great, but it’s not the silver bullet. Each POC machine can only do a small amount of tests in the equivalent time compared to PCR. Circa 15. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just people don’t quite understand POC and they think a few hundred can be knocked out in minutes. In theory you can, but you need lots of POC machines and not in minutes. People often get confused with LFT and POC, and no LFT currently exists to test covid.

Beckman partnership - News in a few weeks. Im of the belief that the 6 week window wont be needed. Its probably a max time it would take. So could be in the next 3 weeks. HOWEVER the key here is that Beckman are not announcing details of their blueprint, they didnt with the US DOH work either. Once they release details of that, assuming its good news and big test targets we should get a tick up accordingly. The bigger the lab the bigger the tick up, and obviously in the interest of keeping it balanced, if the numbers are not big then you know the rest.

Potentially the test could reach further than it would have been able to a few months ago.

There is a 2nd resistance point at 105, weve just broken the first one but only just, hence the need to clear the first one well and stay in between 1 and 2, or break 2 and roll on from there.

We should be able to stay in the low 100's or high 90's today, if we break past 105 then its a free run from there.

Not wanting to offend you but I think you need to read the RNS again, and read the BC website info.

Without wanting to come across as me wanting to police your opinion, the RNS for BC/GDR collaboration is something else which DIVOC are not part off.

But this test takes 3 hours to produce the results. Ours is half. This test cost $10, so does ours.

I think you know my style of posting by now. I just think the next few weeks are important. And anybody looking from the outside in should look at those things in the pipeline imminent before anything else. They offer a greater incentive to buy GDR.

Like what I posted in the other thread, we overlooked BC have done a deal with US government for ramp up testing. That for me is huge and current news.

If BC can get a government contract there, why couldn’t they get a contract with the government for their own lab.

Obviously we can agree to disagree on this.

MIA, tbh I’ve not posted much lately, I’ve not got much to say. Timelines I’ve given. And so far they are in line with my expectations. I’ve not been expecting news last week. Wasn’t expecting news last month, didn’t put my name in the sweepstake. Nothing for me to say. The board been quiet. People just waiting for news to hit. Most of the regular posters are quiet too. It’s not just me.

I was the first guy who spoke out against the rampers on here. All the rampers disappeared over time. I got copious amounts of abuse then and I took it on the chin. Didn’t bother me in the slightest.

I’m just saying there is a filter button. I didn’t say what Dave can and can’t talk about even though to yourself and Dave it read like I did. I clarified myself and said I didn’t mean it that way.

And i don’t do ramps, I think you should know that by now. It’s funny you didn’t level these criticisms against me when I was busting a gut spending hours researching for myself and fellow shareholders.

The NHS lighthouse labs use Thermo fisher kit, it seems they are a notch above BC in the market place. However what most people have overlooked is that the US government are funding this expansion at these existing labs and it’s not the companies themselves. Yup you read it right...

The Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday announced $6.5 million for two commercial laboratories, Aegis Sciences and Sonic Healthcare, to enable the U.S. to perform an additional 1 million tests per week by early October — with the goal of adding up to 4 million additional tests per month.

So this proves BC are connected in the government. So given that the government wants to expand testing, again note the numbers here, additional 1m by October (when does our lab open? October ish? so it’s almost guaranteed we’ve missed the 1m expansion but the 4m which is post Oct??), err who’s in with government, just did the last expansion for tests to 1m? Who’s got a lab ready by end of October?

HHS provided scant information on the specific equipment that Beckman Coulter will be providing to the labs other than to say it will boost COVID-19 testing by up to 10,000 tests each day at 10 separate sites for a total increase of 100,000 per day nationwide. Beckman Coulter was not available for comment.

I wonder why BC were coy... maybe because they want to open their own lab? And by the time the lab opens the government want to do an additional 4m tests a day.

What I think is that 10k a day seems the norm, but there is huge scope to ramp it up. Thermo Fisher are rivals, they have a solution which can do more tests in this deal. If I was BC it would be time to put BC on the map and being customer zero they’d want to showcase something great to the government. Bodes well for the future.

And in the interest of keeping it balanced and to conclude, it could be 10k tests a day per BC lab on regular scale, and on hyper scale could be huge numbers. And every upscale BC do in the interim could also have GDR cross selling option. BC announce news around the same time as this contract, they could have being part of federal government 4m expansion contract in the bag.

Just my thoughts, hope it’s not a ramp. Definitely not buying advice.
