The Chinese govt admit there are a couple of ‘research labs’ in Wuhan looking at viruses etc.
They use bats a lot to study viruses.
The bats are then incinerated............but the story coming leaking from Hong Kong refers to them that knows someone and it becomes:
There have been arrests made in Wuhan of the cleaners at the centre.
Allegedly, said cleaners instead of taking away the bats and putting them in the incinerator, took them away in bags. They then sold them in the market. So you had transmission route from cleaners and the their family first, followed then by the sellers, buyers and bat eating people. Which ties in with the market being a big source of infection but not the primary one.
When you read and listen to the Hong long blogs it all looks pretty sound.
Additionally, there is recorded phone call to the crematorium where staff tell of picking up bodies from the streets, non stop working, and body bags still moving going on the incinerators. Grim.

Qom university has a large cohort of students from China.
In Iran there are lots of celebrations ( 40 days mourning for Suleiman just finished) as an example, marches and Friday prayers; which all require close contact of many people.

Those figures tie in with blogs and videos I have seen. China has not shut down entire cities previously. Some of the body bags taken to the crematorium were of those that had collapsed in the street, and there were reports that some were still moving. Also the bodies were double bagged, a precaution reserved for hazardous waste. Crematorium staff were on there knees with workload.
Scary stuff.

OMR did you completely leave out the plagues of locusts moving across Africa and Asia deliberately. Also no consideration given to rising sea levels, over population ( may not be an issue much longer) and deforestation. Shameful end of the world support imho.
Incidentally the Chinese are going to provide ducks to Pakistan as each duck eats 200 locusts a day. Evidently more effective than insecticides and they provide loads of manure. They have previously used a method of plonking a big herd of say 200,000 ducks in the way of swarms in China and they successfully eat all the locusts, fertilised the soil and then the Chinese all had crispy duck with pancakes afterwards: everyone’s a winner.

I think the chinese Doctor was 35, take nothing for granted.
I think this could change the way we all behave and not just how we wash our hands etc. For me no more shaking hands ever, but I will be doing the Indian namaste greeting with a little bow ( I am a humble guy, so not a problem). A societal change I think, and quite probably covid19 becomes endemic and we learn to live with it as ever present. In the meantime market volatility, and it’s true to say now as it was on Bloomberg at 11:20; whatever metric we come up with the Chinese will manipulate.

Nice to see positives in these bleak times. Actually, it’s worth mentioning that having recently got access to a €5million loan at 3% that does not have to be paid for twelve months is now, an exceptional bit of good business.
