Mind you some of us are heavily invested and hence have an explainable motive, for what really probably won’t make a difference. So for DB it really seems to be a dedication of spirit, yet for no discernible reason other that to burn the hours of his life. Looks ok to me-the haulage payment for taking the ore to the crushers and pre concentrator is paid for by mtu , well that’s the way the RNzs in June read to me. Therefore, I assume further haulage is on the same basis ie they need mtus produced to get paid.

W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, tin and gold mining company is pleased to announce it has signed a contract with FPMI to provide low cost haulage and crushing services to its Régua tungsten mine in Northern Portugal.

Under the contract, once mining has commenced, ore from Régua will be hauled 27km to the existing FPMI crusher and crushed to a range of 5-10mm. As part of the service contract, FPMI will use the waste ore for rehabilitation of their existing quarry providing local environmental benefits. The estimated crushing and haulage cost is cUS$40-45/mtu and W will pay €50,000 to expand access roads for haulage.

The Régua mine and processing circuit comprises:

1. Near horizontal adit mining using contract mining and a combination of open stoping and room and pillar

2. Haulage of ore from mine face to FPMI crushing plant

3. Crushing of ore to 5-10 mm using the existing FPMI crusher

4. Processing the crushed ore through to tungsten concentrate using the existing La Parrilla Concentrator Plant which will be moved to Régua and upgraded later this year.



Golder Associates Pty Ltd ("Golder"), who completed the JORC Compliant Mineral Reserves and Resource Estimate in 2015 are working on the updated Reserves and Resource estimate and have advised it will be completed no later than early October 2019.



Michael Masterman, Chairman of W Resources commented: "Régua is a high-grade, low-capital cost tungsten mine development with significant scope to increase the resource base, which is currently underway. The haulage and crushing services contract with FPMI allows W to advance Régua to development with efficient capital deployment.

Also I noticed that China with its 60 million people currently in lockdown has done a study of 599 hospitals with over a 1,000 people with the Coronavirus. This shows that the being seriously ill bit is actually quite low and there is only approx 2 people in each hospital on average. I bet that’s a fibby pooh pants number. Did anyone ever see the TV series Utopia, ultimately all about population reduction, very good it was.

I reckon they are keeping the old concentrator shaking table as an ancillary part of the new concentrator at la Parilla. Then again I don’t know, but it would provide increased capacity at final processing stage. Then again I don’t know do I, but it’s a good theory imho.

On politics comes mainly from reading Orwell. Which leaves me in a position of not liking any particular doctrine, dogma and few politicians. Except the ideals of anarchists ( as described by Orwell and not the window breaking mob). So that leaving me with little confidence in others, I have for the most part sorted out my own and my families doings as best I could. All of this has left me with a profound conviction that when everything gets bad socially (eg a major pandemic) then gold is good. So some news on that would be good about now imho.

Don’t worry about Coronavirus, we have a very competent government. It’s annôunced today we looking to build a bridge between N.Ireland ( soon to be part or Eire) and Scotland ( soon to be independent). Then there’s Javid’s new tax schemes. And I saw Han**** speaking on the telly where he said don’t worry about NHS’s ability to deal with Corona outbreak as we have thousands of beds we can make available. Bl8mey this lot might actually be worse than Corbyn......In the meantime a surgery in Brighton is now shut because one of the staff has the ncoronavirus. So nothing there for ‘Cobra’ to focus on. ..............

Kev, Add in that the death count does not include those that die of pneumonia prior to being diagnosed as having the Coronavirus, those bodies are taken immediately to the crematorium. The current instruction in Chins is for anyone dying of pneumonia to be incinerated. Add to that the guy that came from Singapore and gave it to the people at the ski resort flew home on a plane with a 143 others all breathing recycled air.
Add that some recover with treatment where they go into acute respiratory won’t

Langtro, I think your share/company info to be rather good. However, on the question of the probity of the ruling group in China I have serious doubts; fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. The use of semantics and word forms to obfuscate their duplicity is unparalleled. So, yep, they will try and pull a whole sheepskin over the eyes of the world, no problems.
The interconnectivity of China in so many supply chains is so important from my wife’s blood pressure tablets to the tyres on my car I truly hope you’re right and my aged cynicism is just that. That’s without the potential human tragedy that is mitigated in your vision of the situation, so all power to you on that.

I think the quote of $3million per month revenue would mean that we are only getting $150 per mtu if we are producing 200 tons. So although $3million is a welcome figure there would appear to be a lot of upward wiggle room on that.

Langtro, with regard to the integrity of the Chinese government it is worth considering the events of Tiananmen Square 1989 and the killing of protestors is still denied - survivors do not tell their children of what happened in case they say something. Then there is The Xinjiang re-education camps or ‘Vocational Education and Training Centers’ which are internment camps for indoctrinating Uyghurs. There’s more, I think their totalitarian government is Failing in humane rights and lies easily, just an opinion of course. A few statistics either way would not worry them too much. The chinese deserve better than their government imho.

Cities are shut under quarantine, people arrested and being dragged away for quarantine although not symptomatic, I have seen scenes of bodies in waiting rooms on the internet, there are trucks spraying streets with disinfectant, Whu Han happens to be where China’s biological warfare research centre is sited, I have never known this sort of response and for something that is supposedly less harmful than flu which no one bothers about. So clearly nothing to worry about there then, especially when it first started to break on the news and Iwas unconcerned until politicians and official bodies said it was nothing to worry about- they only have said stuff like that to those soldiers tested on for nuclear fall out, the experiments carried out unknowingly on large numbers of NHS patients throughout the 50s to the 90s ( no you didn’t know about it because you were told everything was Ok) or the gas/toxins my dad got tested with during the war ( long story, bad outcome). So if we were ever to be in a dystopian science fiction apocalyptic movie, this must be it. Then there’s the old testament being reigned on us at the moment with locust plagues in Africa, Fires, floods, diseases, wars etc which all ties in with the rise of anti christs ( may as well bung in some Book of Revelations) Putin, Song, Xi, Assad, Trump, et al. As for the four horsemen of the apocalypse, we’ll they is damn busy.
