Tin prices have had an in crash today with a fair old rise. It seems to be very volatile these past two days.

There is a semi conductor shortage. I wonder if that’s reduced soldering and other applications for tin in electrical goods manufacturing. Electrical chips and such are in everything. I heard Renault were having production problems because of this.
Anyway it was a big drop in tin yesterday, but it’s still a lot higher than last year.
I wonder if we get a juicy 10:00 RNS today. Tuesdays used to be the day for them.

So, does that mean if Tin has doubled in price since the lows of last year that we get twice as much for it and any revenue to cost ratio has improved? If so I would have thought this would ncrease any profit margin and that would be without increasing production. Now if we get figures on increased production that would be good on good.

GUG, personally I doubt that he got banned other than by being reported in the first instance.
On COVID; thankfully Got hasn’t got that as he is not a spring chicken, and he is needed as a cater for his mum who is 100, and also his mother in law. When it comes to understanding that disease, he has a very good idea as his daughter who he cannot see is a doctor on ICU and respiratory wards over the past year. She has recounted her working life to her dad, trust me he has a very full understanding on the effects it has on victims and those working with them. So I think it’s safe to say we all hope he is well.

GUG. On the question of GIT, I think he got reported and banned, for being disruptive. So somebody must have done that, do you have any ideas who? I thought you might know as you seemed very critical of his views.

Seawolf, I think we are agreeing that a positive RNS with some factual numbers is needed to get the SP moving in the right direction.
At the moment the shares look to e very cheap and buying at these prices might seem to be opportune if substantive good news should be forthcoming. It would need to be a RNS and vague tidbits on other mediums are not going to move e much.

MIB, I suppose there is a sell or selling to be seen. Perhaps there is negative sentiment. There certainly has been a lot of what I’ve postings either helping the negativity or simply as a result of it.
A positive RNS would be a positive thing imho.

Apologies if I am appearing pedantic.
My point is that in the RNS January on production it says:-
“During the three month period ending 31 December 2020, the Company continued to make plant improvements resulting in major production increases across the board. These improvements continue apace and should be completed in early February 2021.”
To my mind that means production is increasing in a major way. As it is an RNS, I take it that is fact. News of any meaning is through a RNS.
Getting rather circuitous, so that’s it as far I can see.
After we get another RNS I may change or reinforce my views on production levels.
Then again the next news might be about gold and not about Tin or tungsten. If anyone wishes to provide information I will read it.

GUG. The tweet does not refer to production levels, it just says production is building and the price of tin has increased, both good. However, it does not say by how much production has increased. I expected increased production from increased number of working days, that was quantified in the RNS eg 4 days going to 5 days.
The tweet is not informative about production levels imho....... and for me it does not add or detract from my view on matters. .

I would agree that a company should have empathy with its investors.
Having met several of the people involved, over the years, I think they do have empathy. I also think they are themselves very committed financially and their interests are also those of investors, in a few cases very much so.
I cannot say that I know what will happen, but I have expectations of better things.
Mining is always tricky at the start up part and the start up here has been prolonged and painful, however, things should turn for the better- and that is not a fact, just an opinion.

If production figures are put into the public domain they would require an RNS and not just a ‘tweet’. To criticise not giving out tweets on production is crass. Imho.
I am happy to wait for the RNS.
Mind you if anyone else actually knows something and wants to state it, I will read it.

I am 86.731% down I reckon. I have never actually added it up or anything, but I know it hurts. I very much look forward to pain relief.
