GUG. In your post for Saturday 23:33 you said we get paid for WO3 content, in your working out you show a 66% factor ( that being the Wo3 content of the concentrate we produce). This is incorrect . It has been pointed out on numerous occasions to posters as being incorrect, where previously this keeps getting posted.
Where our concentrate has 66% Wo3 content we get 80% of the market price for APT, priced by the mtu . The reason for the 80% instead of full value is because we sell under a take off agreement. I am not privy to all the contracts etc, but we were told this.
I don’t think Troajan had contradicted this or misrepresented it. However, you do keep referring to what Troajan has said as bring incorrect. He has explained that prices paid for metals are quite often traded, but are not put ores. He has by way of example shown the ore price for iron is not actually for pure iron.
So in the interests of clarity, again, 66% Wo3 content in our concentrate enables us to sell at the APT price. That which is sold under the take off agreement is discounted to 80% of to that quoted price.
APT is itself not pure tungsten.
We may be able to sell our concentrate outside of the take off agreement, but I don’t know- if we could we would sell at market price I would have thought.
I find Troajan knowledgeable on mining matters.

Dreaming, it is correct to say it’s all speculation until we get numbers in a format that is factual statement.
I am invested, I am optimistic as we move forward. I accept I could be wrong.
I am not, not invested and coming up with names and posting negatively, go God knows what reason.
If I were pessimistic in my view of moving forward with Wres I would sell up.
AIm is speculation, assumptions are speculation. Assumption is made without all the bolted down facts. All we are left with when we are without demonstrable and evidential facts are views.
I think a RNS with very good factual news would be very welcome. Preferably sooner rather than later.
Perhaps a RNS might have ( speculation) things like, increased output, increasing prices, increasing productivity, increased utilisation and availability, increased working time ( up to 7 days), refinanced loan at lower interest rates, grant money coming in, access to more higher grade ores as the open cast mine drys out, processing of the high grade ore from Regua, and news on the Sao Martinho gold ( JV, licence, improved sampling, trial mining, increased resource). Covid got rid of it greatly reduced. Demand for metals continuing to increase. Etc if all come out next week that would be very most excellent, big in fairness many of those things will happen over time. Sooner equals more better.

Oh ! I looked it up the original package was for $35 million, so if debt is now $ 60 million that’s an extra $ 25 million ; which at 12% is an extra requirement of $3million interest not $3.6 million per year which for one month is $250,000 extra and not $300,000 which is $50,000 less.it it’s more betterer.

And if we say prices are 30% better not 25% and tin is up More than that it’s more betterer.

Using points raised by L200 and From Troajan where he quotes MM saying 100 tons a month to break even: prices are now approx 25% higher, so you need 75tons now. MM would have counted in the interest on the then loan, so let’s say the extra is 30 million at 12 % that’s an extra $3.6 million per year or as some call it 300,000 per month.
So if we can agree prices have increased 25% and the required 100 tons becomes 75 Tons we need to add $300,000. If the APT price were approx $250 per mtu ( I think it is) then 80% of that is $200 per mtu; there are 100 mtu in a ton; so one ton provides revenue of 100x$200=$20000; so if we need an extra $300,000, then it requires 300000 divide by 20000 = 15 tons more.
If we add 75 tons to 15 tons we now require 90 tons a month. However, if the extra loan was not 30 million it becomes less.
It looks like we can bang out 80 tons a month ( 4 weeks down in jan Feb only leaves one month working time in which we must have produced 80 tons - using info from the RNS and estimating) ; so we currently have capacity for 80 tons per month not fully at 5 days.
The better quality ore becomes available soon ( from RNS) and we can start going to 7 day working.
There is the high grade ore to come from Regua too.
There may well be other things to consider, but from me very rough fag packet a 100 tons hits the point where we can think in terms of profit and it looks to be very acheivable and soon.
Oh and there’s the gold too.

Such interest with 9 posts. Round and round. Not well so up late, but not really calculating. But I have taken gaviscon, which is not entirely calcium.

Is not itself pure tungsten. It’s got other stuff in it , in fact it’s called ‘ Ammonium paratungstate’ which indicates it’s not all tungsten. For the tungsten to be realised it has to be processed.
Hence, a 66% purity of concentrate can have a parallel in something else that is partially tungsten, let’s call it ‘APT’ for arguments sale. Indeed it could have a price relationship. So 66% tungsten concentrate has the same market value as APT.

We get 80% of the APT price per mtu where our tungsten concentrate is at or above 66% WO3.
Not 66% of the APT price due to there being 66% Wo3 content and then 80% of that.

The RNS said this quarter should produce more than any previous quarter. So that is greater than 135 tons (yes some of that will be tin). If we produce more then that’s a good thing. Increasing prices is a good thing too. Mind you tin has been up and down this week, up a lot today, but was more down yesterday.
So with 80 tons in the bag, March must produce 55tons minimum. If we allow for 4 weeks of shut down up until now we must have produced 80 tons in January. If we are able to bang out 80 tons a month, that’s OK and with production moving from 5 to 7 days that should improve output by multiplying by 7 and dividing by 5. If we say 135 tons ( indicated minimum)was produced in two months work. Then for one month it’s 67.5 tons X 7 divide by 5= 95.5 tons a month. Personally in this world of rising prices I think that would be quite good and considerably better. If we then say higher grade ore from benching at la Parilla and then Regua, that’s more on top of that.
All fag packet tough calculation, but not beyond that which is achievable and may actually prove to be conservative.
However, we need to see numbers from results to really see where we are.
And oh.... did I mention the gold,

Toungestan. What on earth leads you to believe I work in health and safety? I have previously been a cleaner ( many feel I still should be, mind you most enjoyable work), electrician, electrical engineer, industrial engineer, account and customer services manager, project manager etc.
In all those things I have had many laughs, met many people, some of whom became friends. Some died along the way, however, I am still here and have eyes to see and enjoy many things.
I look forward to seeing some of my friends who I have met on the Wres journey and perhaps take a trip with them to a successful la Parilla. Very enjoyable company in my opinion. What larks we shall have ( sic Dickens).
That’s my view of things with regard to this, otherwise I would not stay invested. I could, of course, be wrong and should cash up and do something else. But the futures not really mine to see ke sera sera.
In excess of 150 tons with four weeks down ain’t too shabby, if that happens.

I accept that until figures are in, no one knows what will happen.

Given last quarter was 135 tons then I would say expectation would reasonably be 150 tons ( or perhaps more)
if at the end of Feb we had produced 80 tons that means we must through March produce more than 55 tons and perhaps if we go to 150 tons for the quarter we would need a production of 70 tons.
In either case this indicates increased production rates. For me production above 50 tons per month can get us to break even( but then again we would need financial reports to know for sure).
I feel 70 tons per month and increasing to be a good thing indeed.
The other point is that if we had a 4 week delay that means we produced 80 tons on one month, which if the case is also a good thing. For me it’s more positive than previously.
We shall see.

L200, I was referring to an expectation of in excess of 120 tons for this quarter and likely to be 150 tons- that’s an estimate, by me, from what’s been said etc.
If we achieve that level then this would indicate that production in March is higher than previously for a month. A higher monthly output, which may be heading towards the 100 tons per month. I think we can all agree that would be an improvement and something we welcome.
I note this Brexit debacle had caused some issues for Scotland on the export of food stuff. I would hate to see our farming industry diminish, hope everything is OK on that front for you- and for me, I love my Scottish beef!

The more optimistic views on Wres, you wouldn’t want to be out of these over the weekend. Just saying, like.

Troajan, My fag packet came out about the same ie costs and loan payments covered. From what we are told from the RNS and MM’s video we should be in excess of 100 tons with what seemed to me an implied extra to shipped through March. My expectation is that we should be about 150 tons of both metals and likely to have more based on comments which zi took to mean we are producing more and already have done more to ship.
If I am correct and we are covering costs this quarter and increasing production, my theory would be that this would be a good thing.

OMzr, I do hope you ain’t moaning at this strange, but positive event.

You wake up one morning. You are a relaxed casual observer of the many things in the universe and all it’s contents . Then you decide to focus on things financial, then stock markets, then AIM and then you arrive at the thing you will casually observe, and then you make effort to comment on BB.
And so we arrive at a commenting observer, who has never previously commented- Clearly, not an investor if the comments are in line with thoughts, Clearly the case with a low number of posts only starting recently.
People have strange hobbies.
I am invested in Wres and so make comment. The RNS today is relevant to Wres and as a share holder I express comments. Such is the way of things.
If I ever wake up and randomly start commenting on a company for no understandable reason please let me know.

If it’s 9 weeks minus two weeks shut down until 8th match and it’s 100 tons, and then it’s 100divide by 7= 14 tons a week. Then it’s 3 weeks to 31st March that’s 42 tons. But then production is increasing, so we should have over 150 tons for the 1st qtr. given increased prices and sums from me other fag packets that should bring us to about break even. Any production in excess would be rather spiffing. All fag packet and all imho.

Dreamingof, having been there in the dry season I didn’t consider flooding would be a problem. I would have thought that the temporary flooding would resolve itself in any case, so if they helping it along all well and god- then it’s probably a case of pumping from the lake to the canal that is along side the site.

Some information and some positive news.
It now appears production will start increasing.
I wonder about the ore coming in from Regua, that would be very good news.
