At the moment sareum has an option for Rf funding.

However that does not in anyway prevent Sareum from obtaining funding elsewhere. Whether these are in addition to or maybe looking past end of Q4 24 we don't know.

It will be very unlikely l feel that Sareum would continue past end of 2024 and seek funding from RF.

It may well be that Sareum may seek funding from elsewhere post phase 1a completion.

All Sareum have had to do is prove they have the ability to raise funds to allow clinical trial 1a and 1b to take place..They in effect did this by the RF finance agreement.

I think they did their best at the time with what was around, maybe overly reliant on advice from the likes of PH which have done us no favours at all.

We can only wait and see what develops.

Funding to a certain extent was always going to be an issue.

Regards to the first 2 million in shares of no interest being charged it was in PF interest to sell to re our money they would not earn interest on.

In this instance l cannot see RF unloading shares to create something that is not a direct benefit to them.

I may be wrong but l just don't see a mass unloading of shares the only shares being that of interest and charges.

I would doubt that RF have many if day shares left. A couple of days there were well over 50k sold which by the timing and amounts would indicate thus may well be RF.

A company with very little prospect and a director and executives to keep, this deal would be disastrous as would cause share value wipeout. In effect a pi55 poor company just raising funds to keep going with nothing being produced.

In effect like borrowing from a loan shark.

The deeper in debt the faster you will go down. An ever decreasing circle.

However if a company can produce items to sell or in our case develop a compound which later on can be sold plus good positive news in the meantime then investor sentiment will return thus reversing this hyped up fear of death spiral.

For example the shares go to 2 pounds and whatever shares RF have get sold at 2 pounds then anything over RF buy price minus their charges gets returned to Sareum ( well 95%)

That is my understanding of the arrangement.

Hence in that aspect this may well prove in our favour.

The first drawdown attracted no interest charge from PF. The later draw downs do as far as l know.

Maybe a reason they have not flooded the market with shares as would be in the interest of PF to make money on interest as opposed to sell to reduce charges.

Sareum as it sits does not have the funding to progress 1801 past phase1 b.

Sareum l believe will not be looking at funding to progress past 1b

Sareum in my opinion will be looking to on licence at end of dose escalation results onwards.

Surely they must have ball park figures. They claim to be in discussions with interested parties.

As l see it ball park figures will have been made.

However, to reach these ball park figures discussions on onlicences have and continue to take place.

Yes great potential, but any interested pharma will at least need to know safety profile at the very least and efficacy for increased confidence.

The outcome should be at least satisfactory safety profile along the expectations of the BoD with at least one suitable indication ie Psoriasis as potential commercialisation.

Via the use of biomarkers Sareum can establish the likelihood of other Indications suitable or likely to lead to further trials and increase commercialisation. This is what an interested pharma will look at.

Nothing l can see will happen until at least phase 1a is completed. We are as we stand awaiting end of phase 1a clinical trial as so will any interested party or parties. Phase lb should validate 1801 indication in Psoriasis.

At the moment we have to look at what we have and what we control. This is our wholly owned compounds. Should developments happen with 737 then that will be an added bonus and believe me game changer in more ways the one.

How close we are to developments on 737 that are financially beneficial to Sareum l have no idea.

FWIIW my opinion is Tim and Co pretty well have the potential of an on licence lined up. However, this will be subject to satisfactory safety results.

Should the safety profile prove satisfactory and this will be mostly down to the amount of research in preclinical then thus should indicate similar success as to efficacy on chosen Indications.

The use of biomarkers here at such an early stage and on such low doses strikes me as complete confidence in SDC1801

This will.then will allow Sareum to predict with a degree of certainty Indications that SDC 1801 would prove most effective in.

This detail can be used effectively with regards to on licence involving areas of treatment and access to market sizes. Commercialisation in one indication and then further commercialisation in other areas.

An early deal would pave the way for the funding clinical trial of SDC1802.

All down to timescales and vitally important with the way the finance is working at the moment.

737 news may come at any time.

One thing l am not certain of is exactly how much protection we have with the 737 in combo patents. I am sure any interested pharma will investigate fully before any commitment at all.

Even a modest upfront payment would significantly raise the SP as to remove any threat from a dwindling SP by RF.

Nothing s guaranteed and hence an element of risk on an already bear pharma market generation sector.

Oneruleforone, l have to agree with you there. Up one minute and down the next. Claims it is looking at things from both sides.

He says he if the SP drops to 38p. If he is so certain and he does see this is a risk then why not sell now and buy back next spring.

I have a my game plan which is to sell a vast proportion at on licence or similar news. I will at the same time buy more shares at what I consider a seriously undervalued stock.

Biggest problem here is the uncertainty that has been created by the introduction of doubt.

SdC1801 is being administered in clinical trial which according to TM is going well.

I would hazard a guess that the Tyk2 needs a little assistance from Jak1. Tyk2 alone is not proving well in some Indications and as we know Deucravacitinib did not meet its end points in UC.

Tyk2 signalling solely via the JH2 domain has its limitations.

They cannot give data as the clinical trial has not progressed far enough for 1801. Preclinical is all they have.

Dose escalation data results is the very least that a pharma will need. Biomarker results and data of additional benefit.

So far we are told that trial is progressing well. Whilst encouraging to us it is not sufficient for a pharma to make any financial commitment. Pharmas do not like risk. They need to know if a compound works and primarily that means a satisfactory safety profile.

The other alternative is to sell for peanuts which it would be given the current economic climate.

On good safety data it will prove SDC1801 far more of a valuable commodity than it is now.

As for 737 Sareum are not in the driving seat as that is down to the CPF. Due to the complexities involved this will take months from initial interest.

Frustrating at times l know.

I have finished at Vulcan and Dounreay now. Much closer to home.

Day job did not involve work on seals of the swimming variety.

Was involved in some sampling, basically water samples.

Deuterium does occur naturally albeit miniscule amounts. There are far more isotopes of concern that have been released to the environment.

Change of subject here but am determined to go to AGM this year. A train trip down stay the night after a few beers.

The fast breeder reactor was first developed at Dounreay.

It was shut down many years ago, the Japanese as far as l know now have 8 FBR'S.

Deuterium exists in our SDC compounds.

Sareum have never shouted this from the roof tops as has one particular pharma.

SDC1801 will be under close scrutiny especially as progresses through dose escalation. With little to no adverse safety concerns thus allowing higher dosaging if required in certain Indications.

We can't be best at everything but am certain we will be best in a few.

Use of biomarkers will give good idea as to what Sareum or indeed any other interested pharma as to what indications 1801 would perform best in the clinic.

Certain that Sareum have done their upmost in preclinical which is of vital importance prior to clinical trial.

So much fine detail has gone into 1801, even to the point of capsule form as a means of maximising the benefits of the oral route.

At last years AGM it was mentioned by Sareum that they would apply for clinical trial application elsewhere as would need to have a translation made. I did suggest here possibly Japan. However, in Oz it now sits.

Good access to Asian markets, over 40% tax refund on development costs, a country which is not overloaded with red tape and not frightened to make decisions.

Due to the pace since taken aboard early this year great progress has been made, l am of the firm opinion that we have nigh made all the time back after the inept MHRA debacle.
