Bought back into IAG at 205.8.
Have good profit showing on CINE but am letting it run. Greed or Confidence?

V: yes there are several really good contributors to the GGP board, magictrades among them. It is almost a full time occupation reading all the posts. I pay attention to the top 6 and yes, it is a great presentation. Trouble with me is I have lots of shareholdings, 5 in AIM with masses of chat room chat, some of it is even worth reading so you could say I am quite busy.
C: Yes thanks, I did see your posting. I have a bit of a soft spot for MRW, one I can't afford! No doubt I will get my money back out of them but that would be a loss of what I can expect to make with that money. Doh.

Am back from shopping trip now with extra bottles of Rioja for the long weekend. Remember everyone, it is a bank holiday on Monday. Profit taking effects might be exaggerated tomorrow as people shed those shares they feel nervous about holding for a three day period of news.

Made a mistake and sold CCL too late at 931. Ha, thought I would try selling on a low and buying on a high for a change. Thankfully it was only a small tranche.

Have gone out on our regular Thursday shopping trip. Limit sale of last tranche of iag triggered at 208.5. wish I had some more . You might just see 220p today, T.

Actually you have reminded me that I have some OPE but I haven't been watching them.

Well I had written down "Sell CCL at open" and didn't do it.
Bought back into PLUS for my daily profit (I hope). Bought more NCYT because I am either a believer or an idiot.
Looking stupid as I didn't take a healthy profit on CINE yesterday.
Wondering what the heck I have shares in MRW for, although they went ex divi today.
Should have sold ASC yesterday too but have been ignoring them lately..Note to self: Never ignore a share.
Don't think I will be taking any profits from MCRO today either.
Whereas IAG seem to have come alive.

Had to go out this morning and only just got back. My luck is still holding...I set a limit sale on one tranche of CCL at 1000 and it triggered. I also managed a second profit on PLUS also by limit sale. Worried we could have a down day tomorrow, haven't looked at how US CCL is doing. Hope everyone had a good day, not too many learning occurances.

C: welcome back, bad luck with back, you shouldn't be lifting all those old share certificates.
MRW ex divi tomorrow. I bought in at about 189 but have regretted it, then this morning they dropped a lot initially (although recovered quickly) which frightened me a bit. I assume someone was offloading a lot, haven't checked the figures yet. So I think there may be a drop tomorrow by quite a lot more than the divi amount.

My fault yesterday, my watchlist was showing nearly all blue (+ve) so I assumed FTSE was up.
Noticed last night that CCL closed below its opening price for the day yesterday. A good example of playing the spikes and shakes to make a profit on a down day for the share.

Thats good news T. I hope that is the case. I think I said yesterday that I was expecting a FTSE down day today, it is but then I have just realised that "our" shares don't often follow the general market trend. It's this incredible volatility in certain shares (some ftse 100s yes) but not all. I did buy a second tranche of CCL at 937 so I am well positioned!
Have already taken my PLUS profit for today, hoping to buy in again later for that all important 2nd bite of the cherry.

V: I think that cat could be a stock picker! Wasn't it an octopuss (peter?) that was predicting the results of the world cup matches?
Bought another tranche of MCRO at 417. Thinking about buying more CCL.
