Yes, NCYT are an embarrassment of riches at the moment. Have just looked up Tesla prices and I am two Tesla up on NCYT at the moment but I am continuing to hold.
I did take about 0.8 Tesla profit when they last went up to £5.20 but it wouldn't take my sell order and in the end I had to settle for about £4.80.
This is my third bite of the NCYT cherry but I didn't take much profit on the second bite
I am also just over one Tesla up on GGP as well but fancy there is an error in my calculation somewhere, I think I am up more than that on them...maybe look down the back of the settee later.
Now the bad news, I am about 0.5t (tesla) down on CINE and about 0.3t down on IAG. Most of these figures are meaningless unless one takes profit/loss.

Sold my CCL ridiculously early at 1014 could have waited for another 20p. My hand was kinda forced as I was helping another friend and had limited internet access. That is probably one of my better excuses for selling too soon. Doh.

V...thing to remember about stop loss or limit sells (or buys) is that you cannot be guaranteed the price you set because the price jumps, it may go 100, 95, 91... If you have a limit sell at 97 you will only get 95. It's as if 97 doesn't exist, you are asking the MM to sell at OR BELOW 97. A lot of investors never use stop losses, I don't. Hope this helps.

V..I feel your pain with CINE, I have quite a few, I agree with T about being very reluctant to add new money. I think they will also fall tomorrow before starting a long slow recovery. We have become medium term investors in cine, I feel cool with that. Yes, loss of the use of funds is irritating but a vaccine or even news of a vaccine could have an immediate effect on their share price even before the cinemas are opened again. Hang on in there. I heard that too about the track and trace app being the same as other European countries but can hardly believe it because of the"teething" problems ... surely it would have been sorted out before we started using it.

T.... glad you are OK again. I also suffer from migraine but for the last few years it has only happened about once a year or less. Also each attack has been less severe than the last...perhaps I am growing out of it. Ha.

Sold my CCL yesterday on that rise although only at 1020p then bought them back earlier at 981p so that's a 3.5% gain after tax. Heard that H&MM are closing some of their stores citing the online sales boom as the reason, that should help ASC and BOO. Also heard that in spain they have special Covid test centres for children between 6 months and 6 years, only when a child passes a test is he allowed back in school. A version of Ts test passport really.

m....Must get back into the habit of doing a couple of hours work before breakfast, that way I really feel as if I deserve it and can enjoy it more...this is guilt speaking.
As mostly happens, a lot of my share dealing is happenstance. II sold DGE the other day on the very day that they benefitted from renewed interest due mostly, I think, to this current round of Covid restrictions.
It isn't rocket science to realise that DGE might gain after all they did get a boost from the first lockdown a few months back. My rocket science goes as far as having a myriad of alerts set up, when one goes off, I try to ascertain why then act which is usually to watch and buy/sell. Simples.

V...I got caught out by BOO today, I see both BOO and ASC as being big gainers medium term but I was shocked at the share price falling on such great figures released today. Oh well.
I have rarely managed to time exits from shares well and NCYT is a case in point. I should have sold some on the spike the other day but "tomorrow is another day" they will come good again. The same applies to SNG, I did manage to sell some around 420p the other week but I bought back too expensive at 398 and 388 I think. But am confident here as well. I still hold IAG, DART, GRG and JDW waiting for the upturn.Wake me up when it happens.

R...Well done on TUI, I might have a punt at them having got bored with PLUS. Glad you are still considering T line indicator. I was thinking of L the other day, I even left a message on his thread checking up on him a couple of weeks back. I didn't get any response.

Forgot who mentioned IAG rights shares becoming pari passu, My feeling is that most of the effect is already in the share price. of course there may be some jumping about on the day but if the price starts to climb significantly before the new shares arrive, then I think there will be more of a correction. I took up all my rights but sold some of the original shares as well, a bit like several of the directors of IAG.

Apparently, according to the UN (?) solitary confinement greater than two weeks is officially classed as torture.

V... just think slightly longer term with SNG, I think investers are running to Covid tests rather than theraputics. Things can change very fast.

I think they could be £10 ish by the year end. An AIM company making regular profits of millions a month, Government contract with PHE alone accounts for the Mcap at these prices plus they are selling to many other counties. Recent events in France, NCYT tests now widely accepted there and now able to be paid for by French Government.Possibility of being taken over by one of the major pharmas. Sorry, I am going on, just trying to justify my investment to myself.

Was congratulating myself at NOT selling BOO yesterday at 390....can you believe that I didn't know they were announcing results this morning? They did some serious wobbling at the open today but then showed a 10% gain for a moment or two. Then they fell to about -2.5%, wow, could it really be that their outstanding figures were already priced into the share price? I suppose so, but I feel confident enough to buy some more which I did at 380p;

By the way, I took a bit of a chance yesterday and bought more CINE at 40.5p yesterday....can somebody push them back up to 44 so I can take my cynical 10% please?

Yes the news on NCYT is good, two RNSs, one government contract confirmation (already in the Independent) and the other a extra antibody test to add to their portfolio of mostly PCP tests.

Not sure if/when to take some profit, I always seem to mess up top slicing.

Yes, I have a Facebook account but never use it now except for personal messages to my 4 friends. I don't like or approve of social media but then one could argue, isn't this chat room social media?
V...very VERY happy to make a profit plus the divi on DGE but feel that I held them for a long time, bought them on Aug 5th...could have made better use of the funds somewhere else I suppose.
Perhaps soon PLUS will perk up a bit and make me even happier.

Good morning Brigadiers, except that in this time zone, it is already afternoon.

Nice to see the FTSE going up again. Almost all of my shares have made gains this morning which is unusual. I have sold BOO at 4.5% gain and considering buying them back.
Sold ASC at a ".5% profit and have bought them back. Sold some of my CINE at 8% profit, ones I should have sold on thursday or friday last wAnd now for the great news....Ta Da!!! I have finally sold the DGE I bought just before they went ex divi. I had been waiting for 2666 but sold at 2680 so a small profit plus the divi of course.
Managed to post a screenshot of one of my portfolios on Facebook in error. OOps, I was trying to send it to Mandy at NCYT in support of my proxy vote. Luckily I only have 4 friends on Facebook!
