Sold CMCx at 428 for an 8.3% profit since friday. The divi is due on thursday but I want to be sure of the profit

If the new lockdown conditions allo, we will have a visit just after current lockdown so will put our tree etc up at end of November. Otherwise we will dither until about the 20th Dec as usual

Yes, I'm a bit bored too, bought some NCYT to try a day trade with them, it worked for me on friday. And thursday.
Finished my 2019-20 tax return yesterday, took me a total of about 5hours over three days, I usually pay an accountant £250 to do it but as I had the time I thought I would do it myself, do I send myself a bill? Will do the OH return later, that should be less than an hour as most of her numbers come out of calculations for my return.

Had a bit of luck today, bought CMC at 392, little knowing that they had released good results yesterday, CMC being a spread betting company and more people are trading lately. Anyhow I bought them on the strength of the ex divi for 9p next thursday but they they went on a nice run up after I bought them and finished at 402, pure luck.
I'm getting more than my share of luck lately, it is beginning to scare me as I know it must end.

Am I the only one who is apoplectic over Johnson ignoring the Ugli Patel inquiry result, no, not just ignoring it but reversing it and declaring his faith in her. She should have resigned if not, Johnson should have fired her, the only one to come out of this sorry story with any honour is the (now resigned) head of the inquiry!
I am cynical about the level of corruption in the government, whether it be Goings (renamed Cummings) visit to Castle Barnard, Handjob for his lying over the number of tests...shades of Animal farm (all pigs are equal became all pigs are equal except..) that became number of tests "available". Then cronyism giving contracts to friends and relatives with little or no relevant experience. The wasted money on iffy PPE. The cases go on and on...I expect a certain amount of favouritism, it's always happened but people are dying for Christ's sake. Even on the Brexit "front" what was business about the government giving a ferry contract to a company with no ships, coincidently run by a relative of an MP? Arrhh, we have truly and officially become a part of the third world. Sorry, Rant over.

Had an offer to BUY CCL at 1177, dithered as usual and now regret it. Then an alert went off that PLUS were down to 1560 so I have bought back into PLUS, must be the first time for a week. Looking for a nice increase towards the end of play.

Looks like I was wrong to sell CCL so early, there was another 5p to be had! It also looks a bit strong. US futures for CCL of "only" +0.66% suggests CCL price here will come off a bit on the US open.
