Opened a bottle of (cheap) Rioja, it is breathing and warming next to the woodstove....yes, not so very good first night opening but hey, my turn to take one for the brigade. And it was one of you (m? V? R?) who suggested that I celebrate midweek AND friday.

Just noticed that BTC was at an all time high ($51.8K) a moment ago and ARB in the US is at $4.01, good oh.

Bought more ARB at 275, ooo errr

V...I had an alert go off 5 mins ago that PLUS had hit 1408, feels like a heady height these days. I suppose if one had the nerve, one could sell on this 2% rise today and hope to buy back lower. Not me though.

R (and C)...have just bought more pfc at 130, expecting 3 or 4% profit by stumps on friday. Ha.

T....Just read this on the ARB chat board....

It looks like a big deal as it opens ARB to many more gamblers, sorry, I mean investors.

T and V...One of the things I have noticed about PLUS is that it can sometimes go through ex divi with hardly any effect on the share price! Shouldn't happen but I have seem it a couple of times. For what it's worth, I am going to hold through divi but will keep you posted if I change my mind. Several things encourage me about PLUS (not just the lack of stampy), they have been marking time for a long time now and are "ready" for that move up. As a sector, things are positive, big growth in profits. PLUS have a policy of continual buy backs. One possible fly in the ointment is the upcoming budget and posssible windfall or special tax might be a possibility but I doubt it.

Just had an alert that OPG Power is up a bit more. Have a look at the chart, this share has doubled since sept with quite a smooth ride, no crazy volatility. I am predicting another doubling by middle of the year. I am headed to the glass house now for blantant ramping. Sorry.

Had a quote to buy more ARB at 267 but chickened out. If it repeats the MM enforced dip for shares between 2pm and the US open, then I shall buy more (probably).

of your boy's ages. The 2008 financial crash effects and now the virus effects on the economy has made the world a much more difficult place especially for the young. Only serves to remind me how lucky I am.
With PFC it is an easy decision for me, I think, to hold. Nice to take profits sometimes but then where do you invest the proceeds which will give a better chance of continued improvement?

R...just been alerted to GGP up 11%

R....good morning. I too (and C?) hold PFC, mine are only showing 8% profit but I am bullish for a much bigger recovery from the SFO shenanigans. It does seem to have a nice smooth uptrend (except from that retrace from 138 back to 132 the other day). PLUS, gawd only knows, I used to consider myself a PLUS expert. Ha, expert at getting it wrong, but they do pay good dividends. ARB? well I am bullish there too, it is an exciting ride and gets me out of bed earlier. I am frightened to be out of the shares so am considering buying more on some weakness. Just had an alert that BTC has gone through 51200. ODX? never held it but I do hold AVCT and enjoy the rivalry between them, not always pleasant I'm afraid. Good luck.

T...yes, you did well holding CCL overnight and I did well holding ARB overnight...very happy. I wonder if CCL will dip again at 9am.

V...PLUS have doubled their profit and announced a special dividend, whoopee but I would like to see a bump on the share price!

C...don't get too disheartned, think of me having held a serious quantity (it used to be 40% of my portfolio) in GGP and it was 37p and worth a lot of profit, now it's only 20 or 21p, that hurts. On the plus side, I am a long term holder of GGP and am convinced it will zoom past 37p one day! OK, I will have to wait and in the meantime I lose the use of that money. However, I have the luxury of being able to continue other trading with the rest of my portfolio so I can afford to wait.
You were unfortunate to buy just as it was about to downturn, these things happen. Hang on in there, I'd like to tell you good luck is just around the corner, it is, trouble is, I don't know which corner.

T...thanks for that. Have just been looking at "ARBKF" which I presume is ARB listing in the US, It's currently at +31% and this while BTC is effectively marking time arount $48.5K. I am hopeful for maybe another 5 or 10% on ARB tomorrow.
I note that CCL is hanging onto a 8.7% gain.

T...I missed out quite a bit the other day by not holding ARB overnight and so I am more inclined to hold them overnight now....but perhaps not over a weekend!

T...looking at my records, I have made a total of 46% profit on my ARB dealings this last week. As you know I take cash profit each time so my investment (number of shares) stays the same each time...so I don't benefit from the compounding effect of having an increasing shareholding. I could have done a lot better but was always nervous, more so than other shareholdings.

T...Just back from my walk to find that my Limit Sell on CCL at 1368 had triggered at 16:27. I think I am pleased with that.

I am desparate for a walk around the block, so I have sold half my holding at 245p for +22%, off for a walk.

T...The way I read it is that because sp has broken that upper trend line, either a serious breakout is occuring or it will correct back to about 200p. Sorry, that's all I can infer. I think it is the former, there is just so much going for ARB at the moment.

C...Apparently if you are a pro trader with IG they allow you to buy ARB. I am having to do all my ARB trades on ii.
