RE: Resolutions 19 & 201 Jul 2020 17:24
Retired Banker, I know too well that it went from over £10 down to less than 5p after the rights issue. I also know the reasons. This time I do believe it is different, I have posted many times on Peter Hambro gambling on the gold price, and losing, but since then they have taken a different approach. With the money, it has cost to build the pox hub, and the potential it creates, it means we are in a different scenario to most of the other companies.
As I said earlier, it was my opinion, that it would not go down to those levels, I can not see that happening, just as I posted that in the short term I could not see it going above the price you stated. I could be wrong, its an opinion. As for the convertibles, I agreed it would put a hold on the share price initially, that was because the pox hub was still being built, and if i REMEMBER CORRECTLY THE CONVERSION PRICE WAS ABOUT 8P.
I do not profess to know all the answers, but you have had very little positivity for POG over the last 12 months or so, and openly posted that you had sold on a number of occasions. Good for you, Its never wrong to take a profit, All I was doing was countering your argument, in case, someone like Lawrence13 got spooked by this, and sold out only to regret it later.
Now, I agree with you that we have got to know, a little about each other, like in the past, Kenj and I , always seemed to disagree. Sometimes we now agree, But whenever I post, it is either factual info, OR, MY opinion.
In this particular case, I repeat, I can't see your potential "targets" coming to fruition. I haven't got a crystal ball and I have not got any more answers. Just a little bit of intuition. Stay safe, and good luck with your investing strategy, whatever suits you.
