David the grim. Please show me the information which says it IS, going to issue the shares. Normally its asking for permission, but rarely used.

As I have already indicated, I got nothing from broker, so have not se the exact wording.

There have been numerous posters who have bemoaned the fact, that i the early years it was very few times the all in costs were published. Recently some have said the all in costs were high in relation to their PEERS, so again, this might be something Everest are looking at.

A few have asked for more transparency, personally I don't think its a lot to ask for. But also in some instances "price sensitive" information may not be available. For examples purchases of concentrate from different suppliers. Lets hope we get the right results to take us forward.

Lawrence13, I and a number of others, including Retired Banker, and Kenj have long since called for more transparency. So, I for one am not against it. I do feel that at times Pavel and Co have been working with there hands tied behind there backs at the behest of the convertible and other bond holders, But, we SHOULD, and I repeat, SHOULD, be in a much stronger bargaining position now. The majority of the spend is completed, including a lot of well spent money on the pox hub. Time to start making money. All IMHO.

Davidthegrim, I don't know what all the fuss about additional share issue is about, because that was proposed by Pavel and Co.

It is normal practise to ask for permission to issue more shares, and could be related to convertibles, although why needed now, that I don't know.

But it has been widely speculated about reducing debt. A way of doing it is to issue more equity, through rights issue, convertibles, placing etc etc.l

Sorry, should read all the posts before posting. Maybe wondering why we needed a helicopter as part payment for 1 ???

David the grim, I believe you are wrong. Its to look at the transactions already done, over the last 3 years.

Dark_Knight2020, too be honest, yes I am . Even if it had been adjourned or something, you would have thought they would have updated. Nothing on website either. Personally, I don't think its a major issue, because even with Pavel not being on the board ( for the moment ) he is involved. I believe the judge gave them both something to look at. Maybe going through it with a fine tooth comb, but in the meantime, they are still there.

Personally, I think it is very important for smaller investors to vote. We know that UGC and Everest are going to vote against old board. We know prosperity are going to vote for them. I believe the board have also spoken to other institutional investors who didn't vote, and have got support from them.
There was a lot of inertia from the board and investors as normally these are just voted through.

I would expect that the company will be more pro-active this time. In an election, I would always vote for the people I know, unless the opposition proved that there was reason not to. I have heard nothing from UGC, not even in the press, apart from the supposed Russian Press release. Just make sure you are aware of the timescales, and if in doubt contact your broker and ask how to vote.

Not just yet, though, we need to have the details and dates before considering.

So my message to UGC, Put up, Or, SHUT UP. And let the board run the company, for the benefit of ALL stakeholders, and not just a chosen few.

So todays end price is £1.42.

Hi Curly Kev, you were right about the closing price at 4.30 on Friday, but the UT WAS £1.50 with only a few thousand shares. So it showed up on Friday night, and as I say to people the UT hardly ever affects the starting price the next day. So it showed a drop whilst really it has hardly moved. Hope that helps. Just hopeful that these share buybacks, eventually prove a very good decision.

But how many shares would be traded without these ???

Retired Banker, you have been here long enough to know, they will use the same old chestnut they use with IRC. Its price sensitive, competitive and commercial information and we don't not divulge that for commercial reasons. It would be nice to know, in this case a price we pay with one, if divulged, may harm, a price we have with another. But, unless we have an idea of what we pay, we will never know how profitable it is. Some of the predictions on here assume we make nearly as much on the concentrate as our own. Highly unlikely.

Uptown Flat, not disputing your figures, but it doesn't always work out, quite as much as it should with POG. But lets suppose they are going to make the money you say, then why the hell are we even thinking of buying the rest of TEMI with shares. Just does not make sense. Time will tell.

CoFe I think there is no chance UGC will sell up whether they win the vote or not. The old board, including Pavel, have already said, they will have dialogue with UGC.

UGC know the intrinsic value of POG, and also need the use of the pox hub, to process some of there concentrate. Lets just hope there is some common ground, on which to go forwards together.

Saying that, I think its good the the Board and Pavel don't get there own way every time. Prime example. Demi. I believe the BOD thought it was " A done deal" and it has been proved, that on the proposed terms it was not.

Working stiff, not that I am aware of. Normally its a coupon over the duration of the contract, with a totally separate conversion option.

Rheingold, Well, they would say that wouldn't they. They have a vested interest, they have concentrate they can't process. We have a Pox hub which can process it. Let them pay the going rate and we will happily process it for them.

Or we will buy it from them and process it for themselves.

If thats no good let them build their own pox hub, or buy shares in Polygon.

Just because they hold 22% of the shares doesn't give them preferential treatment.

Workingstiff, I honestly believe that whoever wrote the article, hasn't a clue about how these things work. The reality is the bonds pay a coupon set at the outset, which has no correlation to the convertible price. Although I personally would like all the convertibles to convert now. Why would they, They get a nice juicy dividend for the next 4 years, which will go some way to paying there purchase price, they have a concession price which is fixed, and are further up the chain in event of default.

Now, I am not suggesting for 1 minute the POG would default, just advising of the benefits they have. The only way I could see any of them converting is if some of the interest was paid up front and POG started paying dividends otherwise, I think they will sit tight, and enjoy there wish pickings till maturity.
