Freddie2 couldn't remember the exact date, and wasn't going to look it up when had already started the post. Reality there are more and more cars being built now which are either all electric or Hybrid.

Had to go and identify someone in the mortuary at the local hospital, and in the car park, there were electric Tesla, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, and Nissan to name a few all being charged.

There was as many electric and hybrid, as Diesel and Petrol. Local Taxi firm, has all their new cars as Electric, and local bus company are running electric buses, That is an awful lot of Petrol and diesel that is not being used.

Hence, BP making cutbacks. I think its about time Updownflat, talked to investor relations, to see if he can borrow the company helicopter, and pop over to Russia visit the mines and check the headcount.

updownflat, you can't compare BP with POG, BP is worth billions and a leading FTSE 100 COMPANY, But, it is producing Oil and Petrol which governments are trying to do away with by banning diesel cars by about 2033.

If they are not going to produce as much, it is simple Mathematics to assume they won't need as many people.

I am not qualified to say whether or not POG has too many people. But Denis has been checking out the mines and workforce, and is very well paid to make those decisions, along with the people In the bod, who you think are Messiahs, and have done diddly squat YET.

New Facility



IRC has today advised that its wholly owned subsidiary LLC Kimkano-Sutarsky Mining and Beneficiation Plant (K&S) has entered into a new US$240 million facility (the "New Facility") with Gazprombank (Joint-Stock Company) ("Gazprombank").



The New Facility will consist of two tranches. The principal under the first tranche amounts to US$160 million with interest being charged at 5.7% above LIBOR per annum and will amortise over the life of the loan. The second tranche of US$80 million has an interest rate of 7.7% above LIBOR per annum and is repayable at the end of the term of the New Facility.



This is a first stage in Petropavlovsk's plan to reduce its guarantee exposure to the IRC Group. Under the proposed terms, the Company will provide the US$120 million Corporate Guarantee and three US$40 million sequential two year fixed term guarantees and from the sixth anniversary of first utilisation a further US$120 million guarantee. The total initial guarantee will therefore be for US$160 million which should reduce to US$40 million subject to certain operational conditions at the K&S project being met. . For the final year of the New Facility, the guarantee will increase to US$120 million to cover the final principal and interest repayments.



The four fixed term guarantees, the first three with maximum liability of US$40 million each and the final with maximum liability of US$120 million, will come into effect consecutively, commencing on the date of the first utilisation of the New Facility and will be effective for two years each (the 'Fixed Term Guarantees').

Just to have my two pennies worth here. At the supposed price Pavel was going to give away IRC, Personally, I didn't think at the time, and feel even less ow that it was a good deal.

What IRC should be doing, is using the IRON ORE price to make as much profit as possible. Once covid19 has been cleared ( as much as it ever will be ) unless we find a cure, especially if Amur bridge ever actually opens, and get itself in a position where it is self sufficient even if Iron Ore price drops,

I would only ever look at a sale if it is well above the prevailing price, as long as its wiping its own backside. I believe the guarantee is now at about $200m but this is being repaid chunk by chunk, and if they continue in the same vein they will eventually be debt free.

If they did get rid, the ratings agencies would no doubt upgrade us which would help in negotiations over rates for the financing to repay the existing $500m of bonds due next year.

Pioneer: production will increase compared with FY 2020 output of 119koz driven by higher grades and the commissioning of the 3.6Mtpa flotation plant by the end of Q2 2021 which will allow the Company to begin processing Pioneer's abundant refractory reserves at the POX Hub.
