Trman, I think you hit the nail on the head when you say "random gamble". AIM is a gamble, miners are explorers etc a random gamble. There are no gurus here on these boards, believe me. You're right, we could all bet on horses or footie matches with equal risk, of perhaps even less random outcomes. But, there's something personal and appealing about owning a slice of adventure, whether it be a gold mine on a cliff face in Greenland, or a minnow lead and zinc mine in Namibia, or BAO in Tete province in a country I will most likely never go to. Do you ever regale your dinner guests about "your mine" in country XYZ, how well they're doing? I do lolol. I admit to having only maybe 10% of my assets in AIM and would never go higher. Win or lose, it makes me feel a part of an adventure and a bit of a cad. How's that for honesty?

I don't know sparster, I've seen this often enough though. My question to the sellers would be - why didn't you sell yesterday when there was no good news. Even if news is not stellar (striking oil, diamonds, the company won the euro-millions), at least it's better than it was yesterday. Perhaps one of those selling could explain, or anyone else enlightened?

Guys and gals, remember that NRRP is not a one trick pony. I believe that value and sp estimates being bandied around reflect Namib only. Please remind yourselves of the other projects and JVs on the go, the power and ambition of the major shareholders and the BoD. That is why I am thinking 1.5p Namib, 4p with Namibia and progress on other fronts from the Vaseline of a being a producing miner, and 10p and more as decent multi- asset group and cash generative group. It will be a rocky road, no straight line share graphs and a few fund raisers, but with Martin and the professionals he has around him, I would bet on this on versus the others, and I am. Check out WRN to give you a best case scenario. Look at the sp graph and then read through the RNS history. At least it may provide hope that significant money can be made in these situations by the long and brave.

What a super company this is. Market leader, govt contracts, profitable, growing, well lead and managed. Hard to say no. I'm in. JP

Before they found the nice big diamond the sp was on the slippery slope so it just seems to be going back to that downward trajectory. Check out the 30 day chart. The spike coincides with the diamond find. The excitement has died down now though, methinks. IMO the sp is more likely to go down than up - victim of a great set of results that are going to be hard to beat. Funny old world, really. I say sell now, buy back later.

They are chocolate teapots, no doubt about it. I worry that they think that the natural resources and minerals game is some kind of quick and cheap winner. We all know it isn't, in fact it is tough and doesn't generate cash for years, it is capital intensive (if they want to go mining), and can take many years, many rounds of funding and is more likely than not to go tits up. How are they ever going to attract new investors to their new cunningly thought through strategy? Nice one BoD, you numpties.

The story of the English boy and girl murdered on Koh Tao is very disturbing and should be taken as a serious warning as to the lawlessness of some of these archipelago type holiday destinations. The moral code is undeveloped, greed and lust are the behavioural drivers, and victims are young and unable to defend themselves. Very tragic events indeed. The British Embassy and Consul have been very clear when communicating the risks. I just hope that the tourism industry is not too much dented by these tragic killings. RIP.

All I would say on top of what I already said here re: Russia nonsense etc (my opinion), is that there may be an opportunity to buy cheaper than 7p. I mentioned 3p. BTW when this was 11p I thought and wrote 8p was bottom and a buy at that price. When it went to 8p I still didn't buy, and I continue to watch and wait. Falling knives and all of that. I still think that there is money to be made here, a takeover being the most likely outcome. If I had bought at 40p I would sell on Monday. JP
