"At the time ME addressed people at the AJ Bell presentation there was no need to raise and that will have been the case but I suspect the Gfin situation urgently created a new plan"
Hull.
They didn't see the Gfinity opportunity, do their full due dilligence, organise a placing and get it fully subscribed and completed all in 10 days did they?
Still invested here with a large holding. Had little choice to trim this morning though simply based on an increased risk posed by ME's misleading statements.
Will certainly be watching and listening a lot more carefully and sniffing for BS much more from now on though.
The chat and misery isn't around the placing as such. We all know that companies need to raise money to grow and in this space, if you don't, you are in danger of getting left behind.
The issue is that the CEO looked investors in the eye less than 2 weeks ago and gave a deliberate and misleading answer when questioned on warrants and fundraising., essentially clearly stating that the very thing that has been RNS'd today would not be happening.
Of course, he could hide under any number of technicalities against those accusations but, in the world of AIM, where the integrity of CEO's is always under close scrutiny (and often for good reason), he has firmly put himself back into the wolf pack today.
Cautious.
I have seen you on the Avacta board. Question for you.
Did you watch the recent MOS presentation and if so were you somewhat pleased, or somewhat horrified that Tom Gutteridge looked like Alistair Smith's long lost twin?
Lol
Winning/losing isn't the point here. It is an outcome.
The point is that the CEO openly mislead existing and prospective investors with his very clear answer to a very clear question regarding warrants and funding less than 2 weeks ago.
What is your view on that?
I asked the question re warrants at the presentation. "Do we need the cash that would come from these warrants being exercised and if so, will you try to extend the life of them or look to raise funds another way"
Answer. "We do not need the cash. We wont be extending them"
Today, a placing at 0.3p leading to 400m new warrants at 0.6p.
Not really sure what to say here now. Clearly, not impressed.
Have emailed them this am about it. Not expecting a reply.

"DeepVerge confirms that analysis to investigate the detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus on Microtox®PD chips coated with Optimers[i], binding agents provided by Aptamer Group plc "
"Scientists at the York, UK, Laboratory, have successfully populated the binding agents on the chips using an anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody, that was raised against the Alpha variant. While variation of detection of all 3 variants was observed, both Delta and Omicron variants had a higher affinity to the Optimer coated chips than Alpha."
""The body of research, protocols and methods created at the York, UK laboratories, working with the science team at Aptamer Group, and the ability to work with the real virus, offers confirmation and sets standards that allow for rapid advances in testing of our partner's binding agents, so that we can ensure that the latest detection capabilities are available when we roll-out the Compact Microtox®PD COVID detection units"
Suggests we are no longer involved
"Unlucky them bed wetters that have sold."
Indeed it is. How unlucky that just as they were thinking of selling some at much higher prices, some eejit called Sujood convinced them otherwise.
Agreed Skeletor.
The warrant holders knew the price couldn't get away from them. If it went up like crazy, activate the warrants and sell how ever many they want at instant profit. If the price stalls into the wall (as it has so far) they can buy at less than 0.5p.
A win win for warrant holders. The frequent positive newsflow coming from MOS, the fast growing revenues - all point to a SP that should be rising. But the warrant holders have a great insurance policy at the moment.
It was me that asked the warrant question in the presentation by the way :)
You are all welcome!!
Whether or not it is activating exactly where it should and exactly how it should is of course not known.
"If the drug wasn't activating in the tumour (and therefore anywhere, as it's inert until it's activated by the FAP in the tumour), then escalating the dose would be futile, as the increased dose would simply stay locked inside the PreCision shell,"
This is the most important point to come from this discussion.
The drug must be being released somewhere in the body. And at the initial dose, somewhere safely enough to progress the trial.
If it was indeed still circulating in the body "locked in the precision shell", then they would hardly get the go ahead to launch more potent chemo missiles into the body would they?
"Why would they be holding off Bella?"
Quite. Jupiter are BUYING lots of shares from willing sellers at low prices. Why wouldn't any insti's wanting in be doing the same now?
MCB , they can only buy a "lot more" as you say if someone sells to them. You would rather believe some convoluted theory of manipulation rather than what this is. Jupiter buying from others selling.
Bella. Of course the SP could rise once Jupiter are out if that is what people need to be confident. Hope that is the case. But, as I ponted out the other day - once Jupiter begin the closing process of shorts, they almost always see it through to complete closure. look through their history of closing out and you will see this.
People waiting therefore are missing a trick.
"If they continue to reduce their short position when would we start to see a bounce in SP do you reckon?"
Clearly they are buying large amounts of stock at low prices to close. People are therefore willingly selling them. If this pattern holds and they completely exit easily due to willing sellers - if the willing sellers persist after Jupiter are out the SP will keep moving down as we will have lost a substantial buyer.
The only way this moves up as Jupiter closes is if they are having to compete with other happy buyers for the shares they need. So far, that has not been the case.
Yes
And importantly in reference to the warrants. The cash is NOT needed. Cash in the bank and spending under control.
"Maybe against better judgement, I am holding since I believe in AVA."
This is the kind of nonsense that infects the board.
If you believe in AVA600, Ronny. What are you moaning at? If you truly believed, you would be licking your lips and buying more shares.
Crikey,
Do they not know that the gap filled at 48p?
Skeletor
ME explained very well that the $720,00 contract would accrue revenues to MOS incrementally. Starting small.
"phew thank heavens for that..."
On that Bella, we can certainly agree.
"but we do know in reality due to our LFT being temporarily withdrawn there will be a point when it comes back to market in one form or another."
The reality you live in Bella, isn't the same one as mine.
Hull
Don't forget the plans to roll out across the Huawei user base.
The market isn't factoring in the growth here. They are seeing what is immediately in front of them and not where the company is going - at a very fast pace.
"This is an increase of 87.5% in monthly revenue since the Company's update on 1 December 2021."
In fact, they advised in there 13th Jan RNS that monthly revenue across all channels was $120,000 per month.
$30,000 increase in 6 weeks. 25%
Fast paced growth going on here.
