We give away £ 400,000 to a company nobody has heard of ( and we almost committed a total of $ 13.5 mio ) and are now told we have a strong cash position with working capital of £ 850,000. I think I would be happy to see them put half a dozen bets on the roulette wheel. At least that way we might get some money back.

still holding the shares and waiting for the 20p, does anybody have any idea when this will happen ? The shares will be delisted tomorrow and my brokers still have no idea of any timetable for repayment. I suppose there is no way for the price to be revised downwards after the delisting ??

your observations are spot on. I used to buy pretty regularly from MJW and they have my name/address on their data base but all I ever receive is promotions for their French branches, which incidentally are really good value. The staff know their business but sales promotions are really lacking. They are falling further behind suppliers like Laithwaites who regularly send out sales literature and offers.

Nothing in my understanding of the situation. Really see no point in selling at just over 18p unless these sellers were lucky to have bought into Tinci early last year and can afford to give up 2p on their sale.

of the share trades this year have been automatic execution with the brokers/mm dealing in fractions of a penny. Would hope most holders will sit and wait for their money.

JTC 76 mio China Aero 27 mio China Electronic 27 mio Maoming 27 mio China North 33 mio All 3 of the 27 mio purchasers bought exactly 27,857,143 shares each I too am not implying any concert party but there is certainly considerable interest in FTO shares at the moment. rgds

Latest FTO shareholdings show Kerry via creation with its 90 mio and hsbc still with its 86 mio. Anyhow like you I intend sit and wait and honestly I don't think Kuok has any intention of rocking the boat. HNY.

Further my earlier post I think it is interesting see that he bought 90 mio shares on 18 Dec the same day the news was released of the offer. He is one of the richest men in SEAsia, heavily involved in anything and everything. He is a very shrewd cookie.

Think they are giving you incorrect info. The meeting to consider the cancellation is to be held on the 15th Jan and, if approved, you will have until the 22 Jan to get out. I intend watch and wait until the price gets close to 20p then exit. rgds
