Am gradually beginning to believe Mark Twain when he defined a mine as a hole in the ground owned by a liar....or should we perhaps give the prof a little leeway and say ...owned by an optimist.???
today to cause the 22% price fall ? CPO prices higher recently and El Nino not likely have much effect in this part of Africa. Maybe I need average down.....and buy some more
Kamel. Good post. Luckily I exited Ladbrokes in May and achieved just over 120 so feel happy about that. I still hold 888 and maybe, just maybe, the ruling families here might be more willing look at any new offers for them slightly more positively. rgds

pricing I calculate that the present BG price is leaving close to £ 1.50 on the table. provided I have not missed any change to the £ 3.83 cash plus 0.4454 RDSB share proposal. Looks like pretty easy money to me. Rgds
That was me.... still holding SPHR and watching the price decline. Have nothing sensible to say so just read Del who far better informed, like he was with FTO. Rgds
As you seem to be almost the only poster here I don't suppose many will be too upset with an off-topic comment. Great result on Saturday and from watching the match it was wholly deserved. Next up will be just as easy.......rgds
has recovered nicely from the lows of a few days ago. As others have said before this is a share to put away for the future. Just wish I had bought more back in April 2014 at £ 8. rgsd to all
One lives in hope...I only bought in at 104 but I do hold 888 as well. the 'break' fee if bwin decides it is in its best interests to go with others is pretty small but is better than nothing.for 888 shareholders
