You are correct of course. I still rate the company, just would have been happier if I could have sold part of my holding above my purchase cost !

I would have liked to tender some of my shares for repayment at over 15p/share but a number of brokers, barclays for one, were not able to include my shareholding as there was confusion with Peterhouse and the registrars. Now, selling via my broker, I cannot get even 11p for my shareholding.

our only alternative is to sell before prices go down further. Had asked Peterhouse Capital to comment on Barclays response but despite a couple of emails they remain silent. Pity as I thought this company had good potential.

sales yesterday, wonder who is reducing its holding.? Nevertheless have today bought a few shares as feel this company will report good results next month.

Well, the decent RNS has failed to lift the share price or stimulate interest in the company.

I bought into IPO, ALM and IVO back in July last year when they were all reported to be included in Neil Woodfords portfolio. Am very pleased to have done so.....As you say it is nice to watch the shares appreciate without all the hype you get with many shares. Rgds

the press speculation has any substance. With some 200 trades in the first hour this morning The Mail has certainly got things moving.

Paul, 'automatic' in this instance is applied for small trades of usually less than £1000. It does not necessarily mean new shareholders have put on limit sells which have been exercised. Rgds

over 15 mio sold second half January and not a single purchase, and yet the share price remains untroubled. Wish I could say the same for most of my shareholdings. Recent RNS was decent.

'' Although the website states applications needs to be lodged by 1300 on 30 January due to the timescales of this event and the delay in information from the company registrar we are unable to take up any cash offer for all our clients''. Have lodged a complaint as I alerted Barclays to this issue last week.

some bad news ? The last news I saw suggested TCM was a good buy and since then the stock has fallen almost daily. Reckon I might buy a few more if it drops any lower.

The only reason I am holding on and not selling at 9.65 is that I don't want to give up £ 2000 for the sake of a few months wait. Incidentally I also hold IGAS, no point in selling them either ! Rgds

Barclays has woken up and confirmed my shares now lodged to receive the 20p offer. It took some doing !

My FTO shares all held under a Barclays ISA. They say that as this was just a 'meeting' and as they are execution brokers only they saw no necessity forward any details to shareholders. so I emailed them via their website and asked for their confirmation that that would submit my 'no' vote in February. This they have confirmed in writing.

My brokers too came up with a string of excuses as to why I cannot take up the offer. According to them there were a number of inconsistencies in the tender offer which they needed to clarify and even though the offer does not close until the end of the week they advise it will not be possible for me to tender any shares. rgds
