I believe he'll steer Europa through this nightmare, and if the Irish decide to make the most stupid of decisions and choose to rely on Serbian gas to keep the lights on, he'll bring on assets elsewhere around the world. You make a good point Atrebates. I understand the Wressle appeal will be belt and braces. My assumption is that Wressle alone will add 0.15p to the share price, and if in the small chance all else fails, will still provide a healthy profit. Now that's what I call a 'back stop' worth having!

Before Biscathorpe result the share price rose to over 0.15p. West Newton has considerably more potential, so between now and results, what will the price rise to? 0.16p? 60% higher than it is now. Not a bad return in about a month, is it?

But if the 72% chance of the West Newton Kirkham Abbey gas prospect is shown by the results to come in, what will the share price be? 0.4p?

And if the 26% chance of the deeper Cadeby Reef oil prospect comes in, what will the share price be? In my opinion at least 2p! Now that's a party NOT to miss! A grand invested now could be £20k in June?

I've never invested in a company that didn't emphasize their potential, in order to encourage shareholders to invest. That's their job. D'head has been keen in the past to criticize our board of directors for NOT promoting the business enough, and now he says it's all 'promises, promises'. He can't have it both ways without looking a complete idiot.

Shareholders generally aren't stupid, however. It is each shareholders responsibility to do their own homework. If it goes tits up (unless their is illegality) then that's the risk the investor takes, in exchange for the huge potential profit.

Personally, I only invest in companies where I trust in the management. If you don't trust this management why ever did you invest in the first place?

Small companies like Europa are constantly having to wait for other parties to act. Investors need to look where the delays actually occur, rather than cynical statements like ':blow out day" for the mgt if they don't deliver soon'.

You're right Selfy. There was a drillordrop article a few years ago about a bit of a stink (literally) when West Newton was drilled with an apparent alleged leak because the pressure was too much for the standard casing that was used.

It's 100% that there's significant gas present. 72% is the figure that's being used that it's commercial. The share price is actually under 0.09p and there's a market cap of 7 million! What on earth will it be with the quantity of gas that's expected? If the deeper oil is found (24% chance of success), I'll never have to do a days work again. I only wish we had more of it.

This will be taken out by a major when it's proved up, it's mahoosive.

My uncle, Alessandro Zezzos, was adamant before his passing that the UJO share price would one day be 3p (without consolidation). He was a very clever and astute share dealer, and I think he was probably right.

These bulletin boards are full of anti O&G activists. They get established on particular boards and the easily led believe they are real shareholders. They slowly feed discontentment about the BoD, the company and the industry. They attack positive posters to drive them away, and the more gullible shareholders call them 'mate'!

It seems oily must be one such example, along with d'head. On other boards there's Term, Persimmon, rizalino etc. If only they were all as honest as SwampyMcSwampy….we'd know who we were dealing with then.

So to the gullible on here, when a poster starts slagging off your investment, ask yourself why.

You have doubts. Things look depressingly gloomy. Then that little spark of excellent news. All I can say is, thank god for gymnasiums!

If you had that view then, why didn't you sell (assuming you have any shares)? You could have sold for 9p, and we wouldn't have had to read your occasional charming input! You made the decision to invest here, blame yourself if you're not happy.
