You make a good point. There seems to me to be a huge difference between the opinion of the London elite and the majority of the rest of the country. The problem is that the 'London opinion' has a significantly disproportionate influence on politics and the media. But they'll just have to wake up and realise before it's too late, because if they achieve what they want and manage to stop Brexit, the shit will well and truly hit the fan, in my opinion.

For you Genghis, it all seems to be about money, and you are trusting the ones who constantly, for whatever reason, get it wrong. For me it is about sovereignty. Our ancestors fought to stop a European superpower controlling us (assuming you are British of course), and the majority voted to take back control in the referendum, whether you like it or not. That result must be respected, even if there is a short term economic hit.

Had Wressle planning passed, it seems clear to me that the share price would be 5p and all those who bought at the open offer price of 3p would be feeling very smug. But it failed - predictably but illogically. Clearly knowing it failed and seeing the share price subsequently drop below 3p, shareholders were reluctant to participate in the open offer before the deadline date.

However, realising the company can find institutional investors to stump up £4m at 3p, there will be lots of private investors trying to work out what price to buy at.

Time will tell, but I don't think 3p will be available for very long.

So you can't use the bulletin board for a bit of fun oily, only as a platform to slag off the company.

Since only a limited number of companies will have access to the full results of the Druid/Drombeg well, and Total took up their option with PVR knowing those results, my guess will be Total as our likely farm-in partner, for what it's worth.
