Yes, the RNS issued on 15th states that the financial results will be out on Friday 29th October.
There has been no notification as to when the AGM will take place as far as I am aware.

I can assure you any predictions I make are based on logical deduction and common sense rather than desperation and anxiety. It highly likely than in a trial of 40 people, more than one will have been jabbed by now. By the time of results and AGM (date as yet undisclosed) it is not beyond the realms of possibility that all patients will have been "recruited".
It is also not impossible that there may be some early data. Companies love having some good news to release with financial results (I suspect our cash burn will have jumped up a bit) and love even more to have good news for the AGM when they have to face shareholders in person (or via zoom).

I agree that there will possibly be much news due or released to coincide with the results and AGM. Given the time that will have elapsed between then and first patient dosed RNS (5th October), it would be good to know that all patients had been "recruited" and possibly some early comment on its effectiveness.

Just about to post the same - there doesn't seem to be any urgency around getting the role filled.

Well not so obvious to me. I think you can take today's news in one of two ways:

The science isn't quite as bottomed out as we were led to believe and there is much more research needed in order to progress the pipeline through clinical trials.
OR
The Covid trials ARE going well, a deal is imminent and this will provide the funds for the expansion.

Yes, unless CEPI can come up with a billion dollars they will need funding from other sources. This could be via advance sales or licensing.
I would think the in depth discussions will only start once there is some positive evidence of efficacy.

Is it novel?
Is the IP patent protected?
Does it work (either human trials or pre-clinical evidence)
What are the targets and value of those targets.

We are merely investors. Put yourself in the position of someone with a life threatening disease. If a consultant said he could give you a pill, jab, needle free injection or electroporation that would cure you, would you care how it works?

As investors we are interested in every small bit of progress, I'm not sure the public in general will be.
As I say, just my opinion.

Well I would think news agencies will only be interested in news. A single patient dosed in a far away country using a treatment by an unheard of company is hardly "news" (unless you are a shareholder)
Once some great data is gathered it will become newsworthy.
Alternatively, the Moditope trial starting will be worthy of news coverage.

It is an exciting prospect to be back in the clinic for who knows how long now. The past five years have been like eagerly awaiting the lottery results but not holding a ticket - now we have one! And more to come!
