Thanks. I see now it was buried in the interim results published January and later mentioned in one of the Trinity Delta updates. I assume the combo trial will still be SCIB1 but a possibility that the NSCLC trial will be iSCIB2?
There hasn't been much of a discussion around iSCIB until WTP mentioned it.

Sorry got a bit ahead of myself there, the UK trial application will only be put in once there has been a demonstration in the SA trial.

I agree, this is one product we have had plenty of newsflow on.

Scancell told us last year that they were going to tackle the Covid crisis.
They presented pre clinical data
They told us they had selected SN14 as the Covid-19 vaccine candidate (later SN15)
They told us they had appointed Cobra to manufacture
They told us they had applied to run trials in SA and UK
They told us the application had been approved.
And today they tell us the delivery method has been chosen.

A lot more news to come I think.

An interesting thought but probably difficult to estimate. Not all needle phobic people refuse a jab (especially against an infection with high fatality). Some needle phobic will also be jet phobic since the phobia isn't always the needle itself but an evolutionary aversion to penetration of the skin. There will probably be people who are wary of new methods who were OK with needles.

I agree with Chester regarding it won't be long before next news.

You are right, £48m is a serious vote of confidence. It is still a drop in the ocean in terms of what it will take to get just one product through phase 3 trials.

We have to dismiss the notion that "injection" is synonymous with "needle".
The meaning of Injection is
"to introduce something new that is necessary or helpful"
For example, an injection of cash.

No need to assume anything, you can look up their cash position in the accounts. The last published figure is €891.5 ( £762M) - a long way off "10s of billions". This figure being down on the previous year.
They will publish results on Monday so will be interesting to see if they have added to the cash pile. They are certainly making money from their Covid vaccine.
