I was taking $25b sales, 15% royalty, 20% Net profit and a PE of 10.
A PE of 15 would make my figure £7.50. The GP is open to debate..... they still have offices and staff but perhaps at a level not particularly significant on receipts of £2.7b?

Couple of thought that sprung to mind.

If the AZ Covid vaccine can be adapted for cancer treatment it supports the idea that Scancell's cancer vaccine can be adapted for Covid. (We knew that already)

AZ seem to be 13 years behind Scancell in terms of a cancer vaccine. I saw a similar article about Scancell published in 2008.

Yes I remember it well - I was in France at the time and my portfolio looked pretty healthy.
I think the excitement was due to the fact that then (2012) it was a brand new, serendipitous discovery. Scancell were truly a "new" bio and they already had a cancer trial in progress. Nine years on, the announcement that we can start trials hasn't quite got the same impact don't you think?
All good news though, should underpin the SP and hopefully news of SCOV1/2 to come soon.

I make it between 19.25 and 24.50 (+/-12%) between 15/03/2021 and 26/08/2021 (6 months)

Between 11/12/2013 and 18/10/2014 (10 months) it ranged 29.25-37.75 (+/- 12.7%)
Between 7/10/2019 and 14/04/2020 (6 moths) it ranged 5p - 6.95 (+/- 16%)

After the latter, there was a significant break out to 17p within months.

The rise from 10p to where we are now has largely been driven by the Covidity news. The danger is that any negative news on this front and we see the sp drift back to low teens. Having three drugs in clinic should offer some protection.
Today's news, whilst welcome is only what has been expected. The fantastic news will be when we get good data from the trials. Hence the muted response today.

I a suspect we will get first patient dosed news on MODI1 before SCIB1 despite the MODI1 approval coming two years behind.

Possibly a good time for a proactive interview with the recently appointed CEO?
