My first two jabs were Astra-Zeneca, the booster was Moderna.
Two different manufacturers.

I don't think anyone has suggested that existing vaccines will be "ineffective" against omicron, just "less effective". So long as there is enough recognisable code in the mutated version the vaccines may be able to do a job.
I guess the where boosters may help is that the booster is a different vaccine to the initial two jabs and therefore you increase effectivity - even against mutations.

The UK gov are now asking people to get a booster jab just three months after their second dose.
Is this because effectivity of two jabs wanes after 3 months or giving a booster early still protects for as long as it would given after six months?

Well you are right - they are both contracts and both have an offer (buy this brush for £3.00) an acceptance (yes thank you) and a consideration (here's your £3.00)
If the brush failed to clean or last a "reasonable" amount of time, the contract could be enforced in law.

I've just realised that Scancell is a COMPLETELY different company now to the one I invested in back in 2012.

If there was a sale between Scancell and another party there would HAVE to be a CONTRACT. Where there is a contract there HAS to be an OFFER. (plus an aceptance and consideration)

This is basic law - secondary school level.

As regards your attempted wriggle out "I said offer, not sale" well there must have been an offer for the deal to go through. (Basic contract law - there has to be an offer, an acceptance and a consideration)
