Yesterday I considered selling my Barclays shares and investing more here to try and get my average down. I didn’t. In hindsight another wrong choice on this share. Still at an average of 86.4p. In for the long term. Happy tho to see this rise.

In my opinion this was all about the bad news. Now that’s out of the way I believe that over the next couple of weekends we will have a constant stream of good news.
That includes the DBX order book.

I really hope not. I got caught with the last one. I’d just bought on a dip using for a quick 10% profit a day before the placing.
Because of my strategy I sold them at a loss. I still have my original stake but have somehow managed to average up to 86.4p taking int account the losses.

I’ve been on this board for several months and value all contributions.

I do NOT like the personal attacks they devalue the excellent discussion on here.

If you think anyone’s post is fiction ask them politely to provide evidence.

BUT most importantly treat all posts as the opinion of the poster an always DYOR.

C, it says ‘will access’ Not ‘have accessed’.
With the new CFO coming on board at around the same time as the articles. I’m sure he would have wanted to look at this.
I’m not saying the have or have not accessed but unless I see proof either way how do I know.

C, do you have any proof that they have actually taken the option to draw down on the bond?

The article only suggests they will.

The positive now with The AA is that they have sorted out their business and the fundamentals look good again. It’s now a recovery share and imho will rise again. Maybe not the £2 but could hit £1 in the next couple of years. Anyway enough of other shares. I’m concentrating on HZM.

My learning point. Always DYOR, and keep it up to date as thinks change quickly.

I think we’ve all got horror stories on investments. I’d invested in The AA at £2.20. (About 3 years ago) It went up to £2.40 just before the AGM. All okay until the day after it slipped down to £2.00. I thought nice little dip I’ll double up. Literally within a couple of hours of that trade the news came out that the CEO had punched the CFO just after the AGM. I had gone about my daily life only to find out in the evening. The stocks had gone south. It’s then I did another stupid thing. Instead of exiting with a 15% loss I invested more. The share slowly declined and me waiting for the up turn. It never came. Still holding at 22p.

What are the current milestone dates that we will hear any news? I know the 29th July was mentioned as an update.

The sp seems very static in the 28-32 band.

Finally managed to get 475k shares at 4p in small batches. Shall try again before close.

I can’t seem to buy. Tried a few times with different amounts. Can’t get a quote. I’m with Barclays.

I’m getting really frustrated as I’ve decided to buy more shares here but I’m having to wait for the funds to clear. As I’m waiting I can see the sp going up and up. I was going to buy 1 million now it looks like l will only get 900k and falling.

I’m positive about Horizonte.
I’ve invested 66% of my ISA here and the rest in Amur. I’m in long term.
I didn’t even consider selling Amur yesterday even though I would have made a substantial profit.
I only wish I could invest more here.
