My crystal ball says that the Russian authorities will want to secure their assets by any means. Read what you like from that. I hope for a healthy buyout sooner.
I would have thought number three was actually in progress and this is the ongoing process. However, in my experience in writing specifications for clients that they never take any heed if set dates when it comes to agreement. They will string it along until they are happy. I’ve known this review process and negotiation to take substantial longer than the agreed timescales. This to the point that new client members have joined the team and had their own take on what they would be happy with, so the process starts again. All in the hands of the Russian authorities. Not much can be done other than wait.

Sorry my bad, I should have checked what I type. I did know it was sulphate, no idea how it ended up sulphide. I shall try and be more careful. Cheers.

The article rightfully highlighted the fact they produce dirty nickel sulphide. Western Institutional investors will stay well clear of them and anyone using their product. Only the Chinese would be tempted.
So the fact that Horizonte Minerals will produce a clean nickel is valuable to the institutional investors.
I agree that there should be no dividend for at least 3 years. After that they may have a balancing act to perform with funding further development and paying down any debt. By then we will be generating £200 million profit per year. So you can put your finger in the air and test the wind.
My view is that if you believe in the company and its value then you should buy regardless of timings. I’m my opinion the share value will rise from here so you will profit. I’m in for the long term when dividends will provide me with a healthy income.
I believe the amendments were for the Canadian side to remove some of the speculative assumptions. They don’t like the over egging of value. None of the fundamentals of resource size had changed. That’s my recollection which may be wrong.
