I remain a happy holder but surely there is a lot of missing explanation in that RNS. Just calling it as I see it.

Gold may or may not hit $5K soon but you cannot say that with any confidence against the background of the Iran War.

Not great numbers at all, market reaction seems fair, hopefully just a blip.

I’m a happy holder for the long term but have no idea what the coming weeks and months hold for PTAL, even after that update.

Normal service does look like it’s being resumed here and copper is certainly a big part of that.

The volume chart does not lie. Unless gold can regain $5K ahead of the May update there will likely be nothing more to see here until that update.

Where is this smart money? One £30K buy just doesn’t cut it. The volume continues to decline. Hard to see any catalyst ahead of the next update.

This is one I’m in for the long term value. A dividend this year might be a bit previous, I think.

Again, surprising relative strength but not huge volume.

I think we can all see cash returns down the line, but further progress on the copper pipeline is probably needed first. I am confident that in five years AAZ will be paying massive dividends but they probably need to get at least one more of their copper mines online before the financial position to become clear enough to make the decision to restart dividends.

Don’t hold your breath. The Q3 Operating Results in 5 weeks, give or take, will likely come first.

On the other hand, the oil price has been steadily creeping up since the ceasefire low. The market is understandably cynical.
