I'm sure the Americans have something similar to a RNS. Perhaps Cytiva will use that.

I don't think Awacta make beads - they make affirmers. These are used instead of Abs in LFD

Sona make nanorods. These are the "signaling" element within LFD. They are more sensitive than traditional approached.

I'm suggesting that Cytiva take the two technologies from Awacta and Son a and put them together.

If Cytiva do the RNS no one is upstaged.

I'm still backing the affimer / nanorods test that absolutely no has heard about. It is going to be multiplex as well.

I think raising the money was a good thing. Flying to the States and talking to them for a year makes me doubt the "plan changing" from a month earlier when he said they don't need to raise money. Maybe they missed their chance when the boo hook boys stepped in.

Think antibody tests are serum based for a reason. Saliva does have antibodies in it but serum is more reliable. Never say never.

Multiple tests on the same stick though is a specialist subject for some on these boards.

Are you saying that if they run stability testing on final prototype they then have to produce real world batches and wait at least a month whilst they do accelerated stability. I suspect they will be able to justify some form of exemption so can do stability in July on prototypes as long as they match production batches. In the US they forgo any requirements on pct tests.

Sounds like we have three streams of validation

1. Does it work
2. Shelf life
3. User testing
4. App integration

If we get first ticked then that will be announced. I don't think the others will move the SP until sales / orders are forthcoming. They might forgo further stability testing with final product - rolling report as Ophidian suggested. Suspect they can also copy previous user literature from other saliva LFD tests - no need to reinvent the wheel

Their test, to me falls in between LFD and BAMS. The later can do 1000-2000 tests at low cost. Only needs one lab tech and I think calibration of machine. LFD you can do on your own in 20mins.
