Not too bothered about the result financials, as the report clearly states, most 'good news' is related to post reporting period.

The forward projections are looking fantastic, and with the difference of knowing that almost all of those forward projections can be evidenced in what we already know is happening.

Of course, nothing is ever definite, but whats not to like.

I was one of the posters mentioning PHE might get grants re one of the oven ready schemes, but I am aware others have also.
As to PHE valuation on the already mentioned sites, I would think that's its highly likely that during the next 2 to 3 years there will be many more deals via licencing agreements. Probably as soon as the first DMG is fired up and proves it's worth.

More outsourcing of build, would not be too difficult to arrange, so I don't see the agreed number of sites deals holding other deals back.

Protos or/and others will be looking at the tyre dump problem, something that appears to have been almost forgotten of late.

We send 26% of used tyres to waste tyre dumps, far less than most countries, but still a huge problem.

There are several fires worldwide every years, averaging a UK fire at least every 2 years.

With these fires costing many thousands to control, never minding the pollution effect, councils can not afford to allow these dumps to continue expanding, year on year.

The next big tyre dump fire, will no doubt concentrate minds, just as plastic pollution has.

Appreciate the the news interview (was it Sky) had to be postponed, but an update even on this would be good.

Surely that is not too much to ask!

I understand that tomorrow the UK government is to release details of where and how much money is going to be invested in the infrastructure, medical, transport and other areas.

These monies will be either direct or via grants.

As we all know, the environment is in the forefront of any plans, especially the conversion into green technology of transport.

EV's and EV charging points have also been highlighted.

Perhaps this is what potential customers of AFC have been waiting for (we hope).

If such grants are as expected, and that doesn't put a boost into the purchase of the AFC EV's, then nothing will.

Just in case you are not aware, PHE have looked at waste tyres as a feed for their DMG's, and it would be just as viable a fuel as plastic.

I think the reasons why they are concentrating on plastic, is due to it being quite rightly looked upon as a more major environmental problem than galvanised' or synthetic rubber.

I am certain that waste tyres, will be used as a feed stock further down the line, with the siting of a DMG near these tyre dumps probably being a more financially practical choice than using waste plastic as a fuel.

You only have to see some satellite photographs of some of these dumps to see the extent of the problem.

A saying from Yorkshire is, 'Where there's muck. there's brass'.

Replace muck for plastic/tyres and brass for money, and PHE are a winner in any counties language.

Was referring to those premises car parks.

There was also the problem of the current supply to those premises/locations being too much drain on the grid plus the in many instances, long delays, (several years mentioned) waiting for the upgrading of the infrastructure required.

So difficult to reach includes availability input not just distance.

I think the lack of people posting is mainly due to them having not much to say, as until we have a date for Sealion being moved forward plus the result from the ongoing court case, what is there to talk about.

Also, as with many other threads on this site, many who ramp or de-ramp without saying anything substantial of note, tend to drive both posters and readers off the threads.

Hopefully once we have something to discuss, debates on here will increase to pre no news levels.

Regarding tax, See second Para for a revised downward amount agreed.

From the 2018 annual accounts.

As a result of the Tax Settlement Deed, the outstanding tax liability was confirmed at £64.4 million and is payable on the
earlier of: (i) the first royalty payment date on Sea Lion; (ii) the date of which Rockhopper disposes of all or a substantial
part of the Group's remaining licence interests in the North Falkland Basin; or (iii) a change of control of Rockhopper
Exploration plc.
During the first half of 2017, as a result of the Group receiving the full Exploration Carry from Premier during the 2015/16
drilling campaign, the Falkland Islands Commissioner of Taxation agreed to reduce the tax liability in line with the terms of
the Tax Settlement Deed.
As such, the tax liability has been revised downwards to £59.6 million. The outstanding tax
liability is classified as non-current and is discounted to a period-end value of US$42.0 million.
Full details of the provisions and undertakings of the Tax Settlement Deed were disclosed in the Group's 2014 accounts.

A sum of £59.6 million divided paid to an island of 3,398 (2016) 17.5 thousand each will ensure the standard of living for all islands improves considerably. Plus of course any further discoveries, that could be negotiated at a lower form.

If it comes off, it's a win win all round.

As to the value put on W2T, whilst agreeing that it is not a clear value of the company, to get it out of the way, it is a good deal for PHE and therefore us, the shareholders.

Anyone else notice the mention of 2 dozen possible sites (not 12 as recently mentioned), already noted by Protos, or was that me reading it wrong.

Once the shackles of W2T are off, it will be so much easier for PHE to move forward.

I think most of us understand what your post conveyes, but I can't add anything to Wolveshaveeyes reply,except one comment.

If PHE were on their own, I would fully agree, but with Peel on board there won't be any problem re training. One of the many reasons why it is such a good tie-up

I doubt we all agree 100%, with some having totally opposite views.

Why not just state those views, once or if needed several times, which by their content will show that you agree or disagree.

No problem of course answering others, but why do some just continually argue, as all it does is stop some posting altogether, or at best, result in many just skimming through posts, perhaps in doing so, missing out on the odd relevant and interesting points.

Quite often our views are lead by news, good and bad, and I know that on the odd occasion, seeing my share value go downward, sometimes, quite steeply, that affects my views of the company in a far more negative way than it should.

When the sp goes in the opposite way, again it affects my views, sometimes making those views too positive, again affecting my posts.

We as human beings don't always think in clear terms of good/bad news and comment accordingly.

Discussions, even those that disagree, is not the same as arguing.

There are many on here, that I look forward to reading their posts, some who have the same or similar views, some who don't.

As to those who talk rubbish, pro or con toward AFC, they can easily be put on ignore.

So lets get this thread back to the grown up discussion platform that it tended to be, as personally, I would hate to miss out on good info, or/and good views, for or against.

I appreciate the lack of news is getting to everyone, including myself, but there are 2 kinds of faith, faith based on evidence, and blind faith based on a believe in what a person says without them showing anything to back up their statements.

At the moment, all we have is blind faith, and for many of us who have chosen to invest our hard earned monies in AFC and Mr Bond, that faith is wearing thin.

There are many examples of good technology being beaten into second place, by inferior products, down to nothing else but lack of a dynamic leadership in the beaten companies concerned.

For all we know, at least 1 contract or more is round the corner, but for how much longer are we expected to rely on blind faith and hope. to keep us invested.

I have been invested since AFC floated, so feel completely justified in questioning the management and it's strategy.

Not worth posting on here anymore, due to all the replies to a single poster who most of us have on ignore.

Hope this is not the start of yet another disappointing week re lack of news.

I like the site application for, Environmental resources recovery shown on the map.

All such recovery, will involve some materials that can not be used to create valuable products as new output.

This waste could possibly used for, lets think about it, to fuel a DMG possibly.

We know that fuel for the DMG can be bought to the units, but we also know that to have a waste sorting plant nearby, is far more efficient for both, and therefor saves money, allround.

The ideal of course is on same site, source flow in, same site power out.

A win, win for everyone.
