The Government had already announced a sizeable package to be put into both green energy and reduction of waste.

I have very confident the new forums that the government had put into being will soon release more detail of where monies will go.

Its a bit like, the 'shovel ready projects, mentioned by Boris, no details were released as to the exact targets of these projects, but no doubt detail will follow.

The government, even if they did not fully support the green way ( I am sure they are supporters) have to go green, otherwise in addition to being left behind in the world, would almost self destruct.

I do not consider that the placing put AFC in a closed period, even though it does not appear to put those who hold shares from the placing at a disadvantage re trading, as it does not fit in any area covered by 'closed period' although I appreciate the rules are complex and often confusing.
I have contacted the legal advice dept of the LSE several times over the years and always received a reply.

I have just sent the following to LSE legal.

I have asked....If I bought shares via a placing and they are not yet admitted to the market, does this put the company who placed the shares into a closed period IE reason being would be that those shares could not be traded till after the date of admission.

My last query was replied to the same day.

I can never understand why people think that if you have more buys than sells and the sp drops it is down to MM's manipulation.

Often there are more buys than sells on a dropping sp, simply because a dropping sp attracts more buys than sells.

A misconception is that for ever buy there is a sell, and visa versa.

Many shares can actually be in a float that is to and froing between market makers via what the brokers are holding via the order book.

Surely any company that investors put their money into, are owed honesty and trust.

As I have been invested since AFC floated many, many years ago, I have seen little of either.

We have been told so many times via RNS that the company aims are due to come to fruition (remember the mega gig of power by end 2019), by a certain timeline and yet when these timelines are breached, with no explanation, it rankles.

The number of MOU's that have been put out must run into double figures, some over 5 years ago, and yet we know not if these have lapsed or are still ongoing.

Updates are surely not too much to ask.

I agree that no one forced us to invest, but every investor should be able to believe what the company puts out.

A bit of frustration getting to me again.

For 5 years I was in sales, selling Insurance of all types, commercial and personal.

it was always excepted in sale circles, that selling Insurance was one of the hardest of any sale products.

The reason being is it was an intagible product, so you could not like AFC put on a display day for potential customers.

As to tangible products, such as the AFC EV charger, we were informed that so many customers had seen the product and wanted to purchase (or that was insinuated by AFC) that customer numbers had to be resticted.

The best and most wanted products are the easiest to sell, for both those reasons.

So if what we were told was correct, then the most novice, inexperienced sales man/woman should be ensuring mounting sales/orders are piling up.

If they have experienced sales personnel, then what are they waiting for, the product should be selling itself.

Also the issue is a very small spit in the very big ocean of PHe shares IE .25%, so not likely to effect the sp.

Hi Expatbrat, and welcome.

As there is a vast amount of info to wade through, the best bet is to go onto the PHE company web site and spend a few hours trawling through what info the site contain, s whilst also looking back over the RNS releases.

That way you will be able to sort out the facts, from the overload (often well intended) from the opinions of those who post here.

You could be right, but often grants are available for none proven technology, some just even at the none build stage.

As PHE have a proven technology, accepted not in a full field capacity, they have a very good chance of attracting either grants, or more likely will benefit from incentives to companies, councils to embrace both the green power and the green recycle of waste revolution.

Companies, councils could look at PHE as the way to achieve both, through the same company.

I am hopeful about tomorrow before close, or on opening Thursday.Rishi Sunak's is as we know, releasing details of the UK plan to simulate the economy, and I feel that there is good reason for many companies not to sign on the dotted line, pre this presentation as hopefully it will mean grants toward the instillation of PHE type technology, both as a boost to clean energy from waste, plus cutting down on the huge plastic and tyre dumps. If all goes well, it will generate more interest in companies such as PHE.

Unable to find any links pin pointing the areas, but I presume it is a widespread problem.

I do agree that self charging hybrids are also a barrier, but I think as battery power plus hydrogen will push those self charging hybrids out.

Over the last few weeks I have read several articles (last one in yesterdays Telegraph) regarding the biggest barrier to the rolling out of EV's .
Although cost of the vehicles was mentioned, the main barrier is charging points, mainly home charges and the lack of main street grid capacity.
Whilst the problem of siting of EV charging points has been mentioned, in several posts at commercial premises, it appears that most residential lines are not able to carry sufficient power to premises that have already carried out suitability checks, so the chances of these lines being able to sustain multiple homes, charging at the same time (usually over night) will be almost impossible.
The answer will either be an upbraided residential supply system (prohibitively expensive), or more combined parking areas with the siting of a multiple charger,, or/and hydrogen powered mini fuel cell charging points.

I wonder if in the future AFC might fill this gap.

Having checked all those late trades, they all look to be buys.

Definitely bodes well for Monday.

If they eventually sell EV charges as easily as they did the subscription share allocation, we have nowt to worry about.

Most of us accept that the institutional investors have more info about AFC's current position and prospects that us poor PI's, no matter what market rules say.

No matter how strict said market rules are enforced, it will always be so.

A very good reason to remain invested.

Perhaps being too ever hopeful here, but perhaps a RNS after close today re admission of shares, plus a RNS re conditional contract (means shown to prove supply in time frame).
Both in order to allow a full week-end of interest via media releases.

We live in hope has to be a by-word for all those invested in AFC.

The tender was published/opened on 19th June, but I would have thought that any interested parties would have received info prior to then, due to most organisations being about as leak proof as a sieve.

The placing was announced on the 15th June, could of course be a coincidence!

If you put in https://www.nhs.uk/ServiceDirectories/Pages/NHSTrustListing.aspx this gives all the NHS hospitals and trusts that are on the list mentioned.

The NHS SOUTH, CENTRAL AND WEST COMMISSIONING SUPPORT UNIT mentioned, looks to be a procurement unit for all NHS trusts.

So it's not very clear the number of these trusts the contract would apply to.
