Every day next week, on market opening, if there is an RNS and the sp rockets, please refrain from going outside screaming, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees as others may be having a lie in.

Just found that prices for 1 5log mask are, cheapest £18 to £24.92.

Plus on one sales site, it states, 'Reusable face mask manufactured using Livinguard material - which is tested and proven to reduce activity of bacteria, viruses and fungi on contact'.

So the pricing is a huge premium to what has been strongly hinted at for the P2F mask, plus the word reduce, once gain the simple, short direct word 'Kill' is not used.

From the 5log website, After conducting more than 65,000 experiments and filing more than 100 patents, Livinguard has come up with a technology that is a global game changer. This technology is used in 5log face masks and able to directly inactivate bacteria and viruses, including 99.9% of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

It only states after filling more than 100 patents, not granted, so to me that could mean anything.

It also does not state they have any ISO's certificates granted, surely something they would shout about.

The main thing is, there is no mention that the mask is effective/destroys Covid 19, which they would obviously mention if it did kill that particular Covid strain.

They also state that their mask can inactivate bacteria and viruses, which to me means although the virus is deemed not active, it is still present.
Might just be a play on words, but surely Kill is more defined.

1 Inactive definition, not active: an inactive volcano, slowness of natural activity or of that which does not move readily or vigorously: a sluggish stream, brain.
2 When things or people are inactive, they're doing little or nothing, a rock, a couch potato, or a gym membership you haven’t used yet is inactive.
All definitions I have found point to something inactive, still being present, perhaps that's why 5log have been very careful with their wording.
Covid 19, being the current 'must beat' virus, I doubt they are anywhere near to counting that Covid among the other covids it claims it's masks can destroy.

If they had, again they would be shouting this from the roof tops.

I was thinking the same, but the only conclusion I could come up with, was that as Braveheart owned a big percentage of P2F and having looking at RMS as a whole, notably the GyroMetric section, they wanted a sort of equity swap, thereby whilst still owning a big slice of P2F, they also acquired a big slice of RMS,

Not often a win win for 2 sides, but I do think both P2F and Braveheart will come out winners, along of course with us investors.

As we know, stock markets worldwide are tumbling, and with the latest Covid news, these drops will continue. with many more millions of pounds worth of shares being sold.

People will still need to put their money somewhere, either into savings or/and investments.

Even allowing for the few that will go back to the old system of 'putting their cash under the mattress, they will be looking to target these monies into better profit producing areas.

With even the usual safe haven of 'gold, silver, platinum prices going down due to those who invest in such metals being forced to sell in order to keep their businesses and life styles going, hence bring about panic selling, albeit of a lesser effect than equities, the search will be on as to not taking monies out of the markets, but targeting investments with better effect.

Looking at the pathetic rates re savings accounts, poor return on most bonds, and the high risk of EFD, Spread betting, and similar the stock market still looks as good a place, if not a better place to put your money.

Companies that are likely to profit from the Covid situation, especially those companies that are producing/selling a product that will save lives, whilst also reducing this countries financial losses (in future change country for the rest of the world) will obviously attract these investment seeking people.

This should conclude that whilst in ordinary times, of rising markets, a company like RMS would attract investors, the attraction in these extraordinary times is increased.

Also due to these life saving masks, RMS could even be classed as an ethical investment.

Lets get something clear.

All masks have a use timeline, even so called multi use masks.

But taking the P2F mask, yes it will be labelled as disposable, but there is disposable and disposable, IE not all disposable masks are the same.

The cheap masks that you can buy from any supermarket, plus many other stores, as well as on line, are almost 100%, single use, so they should be worn for a single event, or for such as going into a supermarket, or/and a couple of other outlets where masks have to be worn, then they should be disposed of.

The P2F mask can be worn for up to 7 hours whilst killing the Covid virus with a lessening effect, of down to a 90% kill rate at the end of those 7 hours.

As no doubt these masks do not enter the virus kill rate timetable, until they are used, IE breathed through, whilst obviously deteriorating over time, presumably means that they can be worn for several separate occasions, with those occasions, totalling up to 7 hours.

Must add that Bloomy and Oilgushing have joined my ignore list, as both newish posters, suddenly appearing, both bashing the company, means they have an obvious agenda.

You could right re AFC possibly looking to Solivus to supply requited solar panels, but I would have thought that would not make the CEO as excited as she appears.

Something there between the companie,. what it is, we will have to wait and see.

Strange that the CEO of Solivus, a company that has its own system to sell for energy production, should show so much interest in AFC .
From their web site they state that they have a design-led, home energy solutions for self-generation, storage, plus both fast and rapid EV charging – with no upfront payments.
Not trying to knock this, as I feel there has to be something going on between the two companies.

There are a wealth of knowledgeable people on here, but their posts that contribute to what was once (and has not completely gone) are hidden among all the dross of replies to certain morons.

I have also noticed that posts from several long termers, are less frequent which is a pity.

Nearly 230,000 tons of plastic were dumped into the Mediterranean every year, and it is predicted that without action, that could more than double by 2040.
This waste is mainly caused by Egypt, Italy and Turkey .

No doubt many more tons are polluting our other oceans/seas world wide.

Third world countries make money taking waste from richer countries, and then proceed to dump it in seas and rivers, or in fact anywhere where it is not in plain sight.
Although most countries have stopped such practices just to environmental laws/issues, no doubt illegal dumping will continue.

Obviously questions of cost come into the equation, as disposing at open tips costs money, in fact even to re-cycle such waste is expensive, something third world countries struggle even more to do.

If only there was a cheaper way to solve this problem.

In fact wouldn't it be fantastic if a system was to be developed, whereby in addition to solving the disposal problem, it could also be re-cycled into a power source. I wonder if a similar system could be found to solve the similar end of life tyre problem.

Anyone aware of such a system, if so wouldn't it be a great investment.

I never said it does not kill. Perhaps you should re-read my post.

The RNS did mention the word kill..........Mask has the ISO 18184 certification with more than a 90% kill rate for up to 7 hours.

For a few seconds, got very excited on seeing this mornings RNS.

Ain't it annoying, when you open an RNS and its just one of those 'must put out due to the rules' message.

The NHS will not test these mask themselves, as they will reply on official testing, such as the ISO's.

Whilst i accept that the NHS do take certain equiptment of trial, after such official testing, the urgency here, means they will not do so.

All the previous PPE, especially those useless masks supplied in the initial stages, went straight into use, and many of these had not even been through basic testing.

The P2F masks are already approved.

My daughter is a Nurse working 12 hour shifts.

Obviously they use PPE whilst in any treatment or/and care areas.

When I told her the claims made by P2F, she was very impressed, not so much for clinical staff that wear full PPE, but for the many other clinical workers in hospitals, doctors surgeries, dentists.

I also can see the demand for use by none clinical workers who have daily, close contact with the general public, such as all those who provide services where near contact is unavoidable, such as hairdressers, beauticians, hospitality workers, taxi drivers, etc etc, the list is endless.

The powers that be, must surely, once production starts, want these mask to desperately, I can see the single machine that will start production in December, being so hard pressed to even attempt to produce sufficient masks, other machines, probable owned by third parties will come on line via a licencing agreement.

I am not going to put a price on the masks, as I don't know, but yes £1 for a disposable mask would be high, but the definition of a disposable mask is, 'wear once, then dispose'.

The mask that P2F are manufacturing, will not be classed as disposable, as it can be worn for at a minimum 7 hours, whilst still providing a 90% virus kill rate.
