I am very pleased to hear sunak is holding a meeting with oil co’s. Only positive tweaks to the levy can come from this and there must have been some serious backlash to call for this meeting.

Anyone want a bet sunak doesn’t care and won’t change a thing? This is not just a terribly thought out tax, it’s a designed in such a way to not support these buisness’s they have no interest in doing so. Why woul reinvestment in renewable energy not qualify for the tax relief if future energy was the true goal? They don’t care about any of that, they care about funnelling every point note back into their pockets and controlling the whole monopoly themselves.
